Yah....idunno about making a 7 out of a 9. I'd go for the drop point on the 7, JD. Or get a 4 and really have some fun. I'm trying to decide if I'm up to the task myself:

I have a few other projects to do first, but hope to get this one started sometime in March. We'll see. Takes me a loooong time to get over myself and just start.

Thanks for the encouragement, guys. I will eventually do it, but I want to limit the likely possibility of making a basket case out of my 4, which I still love the way it is. Fitting the guard is going to be challenging, and I think it only looks right with the guard....so, more drawing and planning. I will be ordering the nickel silver guard along with a bunch of other stuff I need for a couple of projects for another 'Head (gotta do those first) and it should give me a better idea of how I might turn a drawing into reality. Don't worry, I'll keep you all posted.
