Morning yall! hope yall are having a good day today! I wouldnt mind a snow day if yall want to send some this way. Keep me out of a physics exam tonight!


Anyways... well it wasnt more that a few minutes after me and Hoss where talking about cutting up my KA-BAR I snuck out to my grinder. Pretty happy with the way things turned out. Went ahead and stripped the pommel too, hit everything up with a soft wire wheel from my dremmel, then lightly buffed with some green compound. Made a huge improvement in comfort when carving. Plus the new edge geometry bites real well...

Zach, I like how it turned out! A few months ago I picked up the Ontario version to deliver to a a friend. I was trying to talk him into letting me do that to it.
 
Thanks for the well wishes folks. I'm getting it all sorted out now. I've got to wear an "event monitor" for 30 days. I think it's a overkill though. I'm still under the assumption that it's a severe sinus infection that caused me to drop, but we've gotta explore all avenues I guess.

Dern it... That modified Ka-Bar makes me remember how much I still want a Mark1 or a BK17.

I was just drooling over a mk1 the other day at a gun store, their asking price was absurd though. Kinda how it goes. Love to have a leather handled/sheathed one to mess around with. Probably make an awesome belt knife.

Kay had to wear a monitor once. I liked to sneak up on her and give her an "event" from time to time just to give the guy that reads them something to do.
