Yeah, its been hovering around -4F here the past few days.

Watching the Discovery Science channel right now... there is a special on called 'Snowball Planet Earth' talking about the entire planet freezing over. Apparently it happened 650 million years ago :rolleyes:

I was very bummed to discover KaBar discontinued the leather handle version of the Mk1.
I had an all black one and liked it a lot but it got traded away.

Any casualties?....That was a long trip on the UPS truck. Lol
I haven't tried that Elysian Winter brew yet, but everything else they make is top notch!
That Pyramid Snowcap is one of my all time favorites and the Winterhook is in a close second.

Funny how we have the other Redhook brewery here in town. I just missed their annual Grill Fest - outdoors, in NH, January....supposed to be a super fun event. Next year, I guess. Winterhook is indeed quite nice. Used the last bottle of their Out of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter in the spaghetti sauce Saturday night. Mighty tasty sauce. Leftovers are still being enjoyed...

Yeah they arrived today, funny, my son found it on the porch when he went out to the mailbox for his momma. He brought it strait back to the shop, lol, just about all he could do to carry it.

Murph and I had a easy night tonight, I finished what I wanted to finish today and went and picked him up about 6:00 or so. (Hes on driving restriction) I brought him up to date on a few things that has resonated in the last couple of days, we formed a game plan, ordered $600. bucks worth of G10. No Shit! Then enjoyed a couple of your delicious brews. Tonight was the perfect night for them to arrive, because of coarse I will share them with Murph, it would of been awfully hard to not tie into them if he wasnt here.

Ive always like everything ive tried from Red Hook, especially there ESB. The winter brew ive never tried and we both liked it.
I never was a dogfish head fan, but surprisingly, Murph didnt care for the cat drool (as he called it) pilsner. Then again, pilsners are his least favorite beers, however, I thought it was really good and gladly finished the bottle for him. Since there where two bottles of the Elysian. We finished up our samples with one bottle a piece. Thats what im drinking right now as my nightcap. I gotta say, so far its my favorite. Murph said he liked his too.

Cant tell you how much I appreciate that man, like I said, it was the perfect time to recieve them tonight, and other than a dent in the one can, there was no leaks or casualties. So, I will save the rest for when Murph is over next and well give you the full reviews.

Awesome man! I wont forget it.

That would have sucked to open up a package that was full of glass shards and beer suds! Lol

Hey, you want my address? I like beer in the mail......though I can get the Redhook this week on sale for $10.99/12 pack - no tax. Problem is, Smuttynose just came out with their seasonal "Durty" Mud Season Hoppy Brown....too much good beer to drink, too little time to try it all....

2. No, that's my middle finger. Although similar to a sword in it's power, it's actually much easier to wield in public.
