SNARK! After The End Of The World!

WW I dread the thought of even having an office job. I need something to do with my hands that's not typing papers for somebody else all day.

This haha. Almost all my friends into knives want to join the military but thats not something for me. Any ideas on what you plan on doing after you graduate?

mayo makes the sandwich for me. Can't imagine my life without it. I think I'd stop eating BLTs if it disappeard from this earth. I'm in pretty great shape though so I can indulge every once in a while by eating some fat and chemical filled spread. To each his own though....

Along with cholesterol, no doubt.

When I was a kid on Thurdays I used to walk to Grandma's house for lunch. Grandma was from the old country, and thought mayo was the nectar of the gods.
Her idea of a ham sandwich was a slice of Wonder bread, a 1/4" of mayo, a slice of boiled ham, another 1/4" of mayo, and the final slice of bread. When I'd try to bite into the sandwich the ham would come flying out like a crazed square frisbee.
I hated every minute, but didn't want to hurt her feelings.
I've never eaten mayo since.

man your going to give me nighmares!

why would you eat chemical-filled spread? Mayo is basically oil and eggs, IIRC.
amazingly, the big brands actually offer mayo made from real food ingredients these days.

Here is what I eat:

and what's in it:

WATER, SOYBEAN OIL, OLIVE OIL, WHOLE EGGS AND EGG YOLKS, MODIFIED POTATO STARCH, VINEGAR, SALT, SUGAR, LEMON JUICE, SORBIC ACID AND CALCIUM DISODIUM EDTA (USED TO PROTECT QUALITY), NATURAL FLAVOR, PAPRIKA OLEORESIN

Not too bad I guess....

So I was at the hardware store the other day, and I saw a shelf full of shiny, new paint cans, which gave me an idea. So I bought one.

Then, I picked a 550 round box of .22 ammo.

And I was happy.

DJ, handle scales finish pic for you a couple pages back.

I saw that, Thanks.

Honestly, I plan on joining the Air force or Navy and being an aircraft mechanic or pilot.

Your Grandma sounds like my kind of woman K9. I know I sure miss my grannys cookin. My kids roll there eyes every time I tell them about climbing the cherry tree and picking cherrys for grandma. Then pitting them and baking a pie with homemade crust. Took all day but I'll probably never have a piece of cherry pie that good as long as live...........hey, heads up. You'll have some mail comin to ya!

Apples and oranges. JWB is Scotch, not bourbon.
If you can get ahold of some Colonel Taylor small batch (about $40 to $45), it is some outstanding bourbon for the price.
Four Roses small batch is a good bourbon for the $$. So are Knob Creek, Buffalo Trace, and Basil Hayden.

Sorry biscuit boy...

Four Roses... crap
Knob Creek .. great
Buffalo Trace ... piss
Hayden... unknown, haven't tried, looks interesting though

1792 ... great
makers mark ... good
makers 46 ... great
dickel anything.. good, especially for price
rebel yell.... great, best kept secret of bourbon
bulleit .. great

I agree knob creek is pretty good for the price, but id pick scotch over bourbon any day. also J.walker is pretty good but id grab the single malt green label over the black. but really my favorite drink is crown royal. not as expensive and taste oh so good! the crown royal black is a beautiful thing. i hate to swallow it and swish it around in my mouth trying to absorb all the flavor :)

Sorry WW... you cannot compare scotch and bourbon. I like them both, and prefer scotch.
Johnny Walker Black is probably one of the best blends around... nearly perfect, IMHO. Green label is NOT a single malt, and not nearly as good as black.
Crown is great, but it is a Canadian whisky... drinking it right now as a matter of fact. Canadians can't compare to bourbons... they are much more sweeter than bourbon...
Collingwood, a canadian is as good or better than Crown
Crown black is ehh ok... just more sweet.. i don't care for it...
Crown maple is sickeningly sweet... tastes like southern comfort.. pure shit

I know my booze

"i know my booze"

Lmao so i see! But i know my taste buds and I prefer scotch over bourbon, period. glenlivet would beat out JW to me and i prefer green over black. but i have only sampled the JW's when other people had them. but i would pick crown over any bourbon regardless of price and i like the "little" bit sweeter in the black but dont always prefer it over the regular crown. it depends on my mood. crown maple was dissapointing for sure.

so it seems i prefer the taste of a bit sweeter but not as sweet as the maple crown and prefer a scotch over the few bourbons i bothered to try

Collingwood? never seen it but would love to give it a go. i have tried loads of whiskey as its my preffered drink and would love to try this but havent ran across it yet.

*lol*

and that, right there, is why America (USA) has an obesity problem. 'Cereal' became 'sugar-based'. Used to be whole grains, nuts, seeds.

I like Sriracha, the duct tape of food. I've been known to put it on salad.
Also, Thai sweet chile sauce - yowsa! love me summa that. And plenty of wasabi with my sushi, please.
Tabasco has a very high vinegar content. There are times when that is appropriate, and I like it for that.

Yep... that's it... all us fat bastards are obese because of cereal.... you figured it out..... damn...

We agree on scotch over bourbon...

I like Glenlivet, but I have to say that to me, single malts, are not necessarily better than blends because of being a single malt... The skill of the master distiller comes into play... I like Laiphroaig straight.. but it is highly smoky and peaty.. and is blended with almost every major blend in some amount.... blends really show off the skills of the master...

I like JW black better than all of the other blends... blue included.... I like the Pinch, and Chevas...and others.... booze is very personal... like i said... I know my booze... i don't know yours... that's why its fun to share experience...
