Ok well we need to "share" some of this Collingwood you speak of :)

But i dont care for Chivas so you can have that one!

Someone tell me about tablet computers. Gf want on for xmas, but I'm lost. She just wants something to play on when she doesn't want to drag out the laptop. She has a regular kindle, so I'm halfway leaning towards the kindle fire.

If I were you I would get the iPad 2 or mini. I dislike the android operating system, but thats just me

I'd crack a bottle with ya.. Collingwood is smooth like crown, but it is finished in maple barrels... it has a hint of maple... just enough to make you think... "damn, was that maple I tasted?" .... it is really super... i convinced another crown man not too long ago.... not to replace crown... but as a little different change once in a while..

Oh i dont think they sell it around here, atleast not that i have seen. i found it for sale online though with free shipping too :)

When i move back to florida ill have to meet up with ya and share some drinks!

Collingwood whisky is named after a town about a 2 hour drive north us. We've spent a lot of time in the area mostly rockclimbing on the nearby limestone cliffs.

Would love to enjoy a glass or two with anyone that ever makes it up to Toronto.

I am completely ignorant on the subject of fine whiskeys but sure enjoyed reading your opinions. I applaud your zeal and salute you with a Black & Tan. :D

For those of you fond of Amber Heard, may I suggest a wonderful film "The Informers"...

Also, I wonder if the people in the Hinderererer forum are upset about all the people buying the Cryo so they can get the "baby Hinderer"

And I have to thank you for your black and tan commitment... I have enjoyed Yuengling Lager on draft since it showed up around here some years ago... and after your glowing praise of Black and Tan, I had to try it... it was a moral imperative.. it is great, and I buy it regularly...

you are a true connoisseur of the malted beverage....

Google Nexus 7 is the way to go, IMO. I have an iPad 3 and nexus and prefer the Nexus by a long shot. The big upside of the Nexus is that it has GPS built into it. iPad won't have that on the wifi versions.

yes on this one. Budget depending get her and iPad. iOS has the best apps/ecosystem and hardware build quality is far superior to anything else out there on the market right now (IMO). I've had a few iPads and more then a few iPhones and whenever I use an android device (amazon uses a heavily modded android base) I'm disappointed. Don't even get me started on Windows RT. Yikes.

I have the Blackberry Playbook. 64 gb, got it for 199. Granted in America the Blackberry is phasing out and Apple and Android are taking over. However in other countries it is still going strong. I'm able to stay in touch with my friends SO well cause of it. Between the playbook video chat and the Blackberry Messenger service it turns out GREAT!
