Snark all day

Yeah... I didn't realize how unlikely that was at the time...

I only got it back cause he had it when he came to the spring gathering and I told him I wanted it back right then.

yup :>

at a large meeting, tell him you're gay, plant a juicy one on his lips, and tell him you're calling him out for harassment, and leave :)

burn those bridges ;)

More of this. You see this people? This is snark.

Who are you ?

I don't think a man with ears like that has any business talking trash about sweet old Thurmond. He is a good fella. Also, that dog has a potty mouth.

*ponders* Don't all dogs have potty mouths?

and in turn don't all people that kiss their dogs have potty mouths?

From that, can't we extrapolate that all people who have kissed those that have kissed dogs also have potty mouths?

So, last night I added ranger band to my 10 and 7 scales. and I added a secondary retention on my 7 sheath in the form of stretch cord... Trying to decide if I want to remove the strap/button or leave it.

covers! A package arrived yesterday from Moose, needless to say I was hesitant to open it.

When opening anything from devious Moose it's important to use the longest Becker at hand. Unfortunately my patrol machete was in the Jeep so the King lent it's edge.

It was the BK&T/Ka-Bar hats we had discussed at the gathering! Thanks Moose!

You're welcome. I was gonna shit in the mailer with the hats, but postage would have been much more. :grumpy:

I don't understand how the whole gun debate gets rekindled here. I always kinda thought most of the poeple here had some intellect to them. Maybe I'm wrong. My point you ask. O.K. I carry a Glock 19. Now let's ask. Is it lightwieght, simple to use under stress, acurrate, high cappacity, snag free for carry, thought of and invented by one smart badass SOB. (Gaston Glock. Goggle him) yes! It is. Can you buy one that matches your fanny pack? NO! I have owned 5 and shot over 10,000 rounds through them. Does it suit me? Yes. Are there other guns that are just as good that suite other poeple for there different shooting styles? Yes. Guns are like cars. It is all personal preferrence. They all get you to work. Witch one is the best will never be proven as long as there is more than one gun manufacturer in the world. You wanna know witch one is the best. Get your ass to the range and decide for yourself! That is all, I'm O.k. now! Had to vent, going to fridge for beer!

Amen brother! I love and own most of the guns you mention. But if I'm gonna reach for a gun in the middle of the night to protect my family, half asleep, under stress, easy of function, I'm going for my Glock. I'll be pumping lead while some poeple will be fooling with safteys and decocking levers, not something I wanna deal with in a life or death situation. Is it a pretty gun? No. Is it the one I feel is the best option to keep me and my family safe under those conditions? Yes. Do you feel there's something out there better for you to protect your family? Than by all means I wish I could afford to buy it for you. Cause that's what its all about. Keeping our loved ones safe. I love all guns, but some have there place. For me to tell anyone which one is best wouldn't be right. To many factors involved. My beer is empty from the last post. Going for another!

amen brother! the best gun is the one you have with you at the time!

Anyone who's anyone knows the best guns are made by Hi-Point. Duh.

Hi-Point Carbine.... ugly but efficient -- just like me!

The firearm doesn't matter as long as it's reliable and the shooter is proficient with it. I was issued a Beretta M9 in the Corps. I hated that pistol, still hate the 9mm, but I was an expert with it. Know your weapon and use it.

bingo!

And when I am lazy its this baby. Still just point and shoot no gizmos and works 100% just like a Glock.

speaking of lazy -- I found the missing round on my floorboards, forgot to give it back.

Yeah, I don't carry mine. It's a little bit too big for me to carry it comfortably.
And I just can't get into the feel of compact pistols.

I know Tauras has a lot of options out there.
I hear conflicting opinions on Taurus.
To anyone who owns one - Do you like it? Would you recomend one? Why, or why not.

Taurus has a problem with bugs when they first release models -- their all metal stuff seems to be great, but there have been issues with first gen polymer models.

You're welcome. I was gonna shit in the mailer with the hats, but postage would have been much more. :grumpy:

flat rate envelope? :D

not too bad -- spent an interesting night in the woods -- November thunderstorm that turned into a sleet storm around 6 AM Sunday.
lightning hit a nearby tree - highly reminiscent of a mortar going off....
knee is healing well -- gonna call the doc and see if I can get the stitches out Friday instead of waiting until Monday.

how about you?

I'm walking without unbearable pain, but still tender enough to make me do the "owwww hop" when I step wrong.

Weathers putting the arthritis back on active duty, but other than that, I'm doing great. Need to get some time off to hit the woods and trout fish some. Weathers finally right for it.

Maybe shoot some animals, eat their flesh, wear their skins, and make their bones into weapons.

Mmmmm...PMR-30. Tried to get one a while back, but refused to pay $450-$500.

Upgrade from T1 (1.5mb up/down) to Fiber (30mb up/down) has started here at work. I'm one happy geek...and the BF surfage will likely become far more enjoyable by this time next week. All your damn blade-porn pics will just appear instead of being like click....grab coffee cup...go fill it...walk back...hmmm...almost loaded. :D

Got me some Tim Horton's this morning. A gift from a good friend and a reminder of the summers I spend in Canade, eh.
