Interesting...
Looks like default is 20 posts per page...
The way the good lord intended
Unless it's just using previous personal settings

Aw man, my dual membership status shows, it's distracting too. Guess I'll have to bug Spark again, like he's not already busy enough.

Sunny all day, not normal at all. Had to find my sunglasses as I hadn't used them in six months

He is risen! Happy Easter!
Amen Brother!

Back in.
I'd like to say it's good to be home, but after a weekend traveling to see family, I'm catching the red-eye for business.
Woo-Hoo.

Tried sharpening an S30V Spyderco on a dozen grits of wet/dry over mousepad. Its decent, but still won't shave. That stuff just requires machinery.

On a side note, complimted my nephew on his choice of ZT 0566. He was surprised- he just grabbed it out of lost and found at work when they were about to chuck it in the trash!

I found a pretty darn nice axe haul in my Grandpa's buildings today. I know several of you are axe junkies, so I'm gonna copy and paste from my post in the axes forum..

Looking for some info/ID help.

The ones that are marked with grey are all (as of yet) unIDable. They have some slightly visible logos/markings but for the most part are a bit too rusty to really see anything yet. The one marked green says

"True Temper
RED WARRIOR
Kelly Workst"

The one marked yellow says
"True Temper
Kelly Perfect"

Closer pic of yellow

It has some interesting angles.

The one marked red is a Plumb and it also has a "J" on the other side (possibly more letters but only J is visible).

The one marked blue is a Collins.

My granddad says they were my late Great Uncle's forest service axes. They both seem like stainless steel.

The one on the far right (grey, but only because there are no visible ID marks right now) has a stamp on both sides of the poll, can't tell what one says but the other looks like "3 1/4"

Also found this huge Plumb in a junk pile.

Sorry for the bad photos, they were all taken in low light. Any info would be very appreciated, especially on the forest service double bits.

I like how it seems to know where I left off.

Don't like how I have to scroll back up to get back to BK&T. But I'm not surprised since that's how other forums I'm on operate.

Nevermind that part- just found it at the bottom too!

Also don't love the colors, but whatever.
I'm sure I'll adapt.

Great haul, Noswad!

4th from the right -- socket chisel is possibly a framer's "slick" -- if yes, the original handle was probably in the 15-18" range.
