Hope the water recedes and nobody gets hurt. Stay safe man.Man…
Been dealing with some pretty serious flooding in the last 2 days in my city and county. Snow melt and then very heavy rainfall. Had to leave work early today because I-5 closed down for 20 miles. Inconveniently right between work and home. Many roads closed. There was one possible route home so I took it and thank God I was able to make it home. Might not have been able to make it later. One of the rivers that has been causing flooding hasn’t even crested yet. It should within the next few hours. That would affect a lot of homes. I’m only 3 blocks from the river. We’ve had 3 major floods the last 25 yrs and my house hasn’t seen water. Let’s hope that stays the case!

Those Hatsan are a bucket of fun. I have one of those in .22. Pretty nice wood on them too.7:00 am to 12:00 am Thursday . 7:00 to 7:00 Friday. To much for an old fat man. Made a trip down to the local convenience store because I had to have windshield wiper fluid and wanted Pepsi and Little Debbie crumb donuts . I may fine tune the scope I put on my Hatsan 95 .25 cal air rifle . It ate the cheap scope that came with it. Other than that my only plan is to watch the latest episode of The book of Boba Fett
I've been using the Bigboy 2000 (orange handle) for over 10 years. Use it for trail maintenance and even felled and bucked a 2' dia pine tree. It's an amazing saw. Have not used the Boreal, but I can 100% recommend the Bigboy. What are you guys thoughts on saws? Is the Silky professional BIGBOY 2000 a decent saw? Or do you think something like the BOREAL 21 folding bow saw is better?
Awesome. It had good reviews. They are both about the same price.I've been using the Bigboy 2000 (orange handle) for over 10 years. Use it for trail maintenance and even felled and bucked a 2' dia pine tree. It's an amazing saw. Have not used the Boreal, but I can 100% recommend the Bigboy.
I've replaced it maybe twice. Once because the person that was using it bent the blade. Perhaps a second time because it got dull (cutting too much dirt-filled wood). The blades are shockingly sharp out of the box.How often do you have to change the blade on the BIGBOY?
I've read that it cuts on the pull stroke, and using a "circular" motion makes it work better, as opposed to just going back and forth.I've replaced it maybe twice. That sucks. I guess a ranger band would work okay. Looks like they sell a plastic sheath for $30 for it, but the ranger band would be cheaper. The only gripe I have is with the BIGBOY I have, is the blade unfolds to easy. I ended up making a short kydex sheath to keep it closed while hauling it around. Hopefully the newer ones won’t do that .
