apparently it's fashionable to say that twerking is a cultural black thing and anyone doing it without permission is guilty of cultural appropriation...

guess the Brazilians shouldn't have started doing it a couple 2-3 decades ago :>

i'll leave you with this

Somebody get that girl a bacon cheese burger! Good lord! I got distracted by counting her ribs sticking out of the side of her dress!

Double Bonus Today---I stopped by my sisters house today to pickup a pair of shorts she repaired for me. They are having a garage sale tomorrow so they were setting stuff out. i wasnt expecting to see anything I like. My brother-in-law and I have completely different interests. My brother tosses a mummy bag on the table. I inspect it and find it to be practically brand new. It was a Eddie Bauer sleeping bag made by Wenzel. It was a mummy bag that has the removable comfort quilt on top of the bag. With the quilt zipped on its rated to 0*F and 30*F without. It is extremely well made and probably sold for over 200 bucks. I know he didnt pay that much for it. He is a clearance shopper so he probably got it really cheap (He also works at Target so he gets his discount on top of the clearance price). He had a price tag on it for 10 bucks. I asked if he would hold on to it til I could give him the money. He told me to take it and pay him later. I tossed it in the vehicle. Then he came over and said, "I have been thinking alot about carrying a knife lately. Maybe we can trade for one." My eyes lit up. I would rather trade him a knife that costs more than the ten bucks I was going to give him. He wasnt sure of what he wanted exactly. He said a folding knife that doesnt have all those gadgets on it....So no SAKs. I only have a small handful to choose from. (Rat1, Leek, a couple cheap linerlocks and a few traditionals) I will give him any one he wants. He does like car camping so maybe we will do that and I will introduce him to my Beckers. Heres a pic of the sleeping bag with the blue comfort quilt partly zipped down so you can see it. Anyone know anything about these bags? (price, quality,etc..)

That's a hell of a deal, OFM. Awesome. Give him the Rat-1 and run.

I have a bag from Eddie Bauer, and I had a tent from Wenzel. IMO neither one was anything special, although my bag was a regular rectangle one with a flanel-esque inside, not a mummy bag. The Wenzel tent was trashed pretty quick with light use, so that kinda put me off their brand. Does it feel like it is well made? Is the fill pretty robust and dense, or does it feel like there is just some fluffy stuff in there, enough to make it look puffy but not enough to do the job? I've always been of the opinion that you can tell quality in something by fiddling around with it a little and using some common sense. Does it feel quality? Do the seams look well done? Does it seem to be splitting at any of the seams, or is the fabric coming loose from the sewing?

I still use the Eddie Bauer bag regularly simply because it doesn't have that plasticy feeling inside, and it is okay for very moderate temps, but if the bag you have says rated to 0°, I would say it probably is only good down to 20°, and that is me being optimistic. Of course, I have been known to be wrong, and surprisingly, more than once. Either way, nice find, good luck, and let us know how well it works for you.

Just got a Wheat penny in my change. Pretty rare these days.

When unable to sleep, youtube is bad, just BAD! Evil even!

So, 8 am I played this, quite loud. Mind you, my upstairs neighbors are tools that were up till 330 am and were keeping me from being able to sleep:

When that was over, I went ahead and played this one next:

Something hit my freaking foot! @.@

Scariest way to wake up ever and second time its happened, gotta move that picture frame at the food of the bed. If I kick it in sleep it snaps back and hits me, and that'll scare the ____ out of ya!

Saw a strange light last night. Walked out of the house, toward my truck, looked up, and saw a glowing white light, with a slight tail behind it, going from south to north. Not like a meteor, falling fast with a long tail. I initially thought it was falling, but more so appeared to be coming down, and across the sky. Strange. That is all.

So, apparently I make up phrases. I was talking to Miss, and I was explaining I'm trying to clean the house but I don't want to just stuff clothes wherever I'm actually cleaning. I called it a "tuck and tape" job. She never heard of it. My friends and I have been calling it that for years, possibly even decades. Cause you're shoving everything out of the way and hoping it fools everyone.

Check the NPR website - there was a rocket launch last night around 11:40 that they were saying a good portion of the nation would be able to see. But if you start making sculptures out of mashed potatoes, then that probably wasn't what it was.....

You DEFINITELY pulled that off.
Green on knives is tricky, and that one works.
Green under black has been a popular combo for me.
