My daughter was made in Arizona, and if our math was correct, on my ex-wife's birthday.

But my son was made offshore (in Germany), on my birthday.

We quit celebrating birthdays in that manner after that.

LMAO, yea birthdays are good for making more birthdays!!

Heck we know the exact times both our kids were conceived. Its the only 2 times we ever did anything without some sort of protection or preventive measures. With my oldest, my daughter, my wife was in Korea with me for a couple months. She got pregnant there, and its weird there they will not tell you the sex of the baby because, from what the Korean doctor told us, a lot of Koreans will have an abortion if the first child is not a boy. Sad IMO, but not my culture to talk about. The doctor finally told us, once we assured him that we didnt care either way and would never abort, He said we should buy pink. And then asked us 3 times not to tell anyone he said that. The Army told me we should send her home to give birth, so she went back to the US at the start of her 3rd trimester. I missed my daughter being born by 1 day. She was suppose to be coming 2nd week of july, so i had my leave set from july 1st until july 31st. My daughter was born July 1st. I got there July 2nd after all the plane rides.

My son was conceived after we had a huge fight one night and made up. He came early too, he was suppose to come November 10th. My wife went into labor on Halloween night, out trick or treating. He came November 1st. Both my kids were born on the first of the month. Good thats payday LOL

I keep telling the wife i want to tattoo "made in Korea" on my daughter but she wont let me. I think it would be cool on her foot or something. Of course my daughter might kill me when she got older lol

My daughter was born on July 2nd at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. They no longer have a hospital on post, so all the babies are born in Sierra Vista unless it's an emergency.

My son apparently was almost born in the parking lot of the German hospital (krankenhaus). Water broke at 2030 (10:30 PM), so we had a neighbor come up to stay with our daughter who was 3 at the time and asleep. Roads were snowy (in January) so I drove carefully the 15 minutes to the hospital. The nurses checked dilation when we got there. Hmmm, 10 cm, "We'll just skip labor and go straight to delivery. Hopefully the doctor will get here in time!" Twenty minutes later, the doctor arrived and after two pushes, "Ist junge!" ("It's a boy!"). I was back home before midnight.

My Nan got me this as a surprise and it totally blew me away. I love WWII fighter aircraft and loved the story of Douglas Bader (who my Grandfather caddied for once) and this gift is just perfect.

Ran a few bowls of cherry blend through her. She's a good smoker:

I'm at the tail end of the movie Elysium, and strangely, I'm rooting for the bad guys.

I must hate Matt Damon (insert your own offensive descriptor here) just that much, LOL

Anybody here have any experience with Maxpedition's M4 waistpack? I have one inbound and am wondering what y'all's thoughts on it are.

Also, snark. Since the holidays are over I have a three-hour shift tomorrow first thing in the morning. Awesome.

Thanks. Cheap too. $3.59, hard to beat. Got it for the backpack.

I don't think anything smokes better than those MM cobs. Have you tried the hardwood pipes they make Dubz? They are great little smokers and under five bucks. Here's my pack "rig".

I was aware they made them, but have never tried one. I feel like the corn cob pipes smoke cooler, do you?

I think they are about the same. When you break in these little birch pipes they do a great job really. But honestly, I just don't think you can beat the cobs with anything. I've got a couple of expensive briars that can't touch a Missouri meerschaum cob. Some good cherry or Carter Hall in one is hard to beat.
