Im glad xmas is over, it was fun but im glad its done and over. My kids had a blast and enjoyed their gifts. Me and momma had a good time as well. I got her some winter boots from Australia and I also got her some new hair gizmos, one that flattens, one that makes waves, and another one im not too sure what the hell it does.... but it had good reviews :rolleyes:

The next couple days will feel a little like xmas because i have BK4, BK24, BK11, digital caliper and a new scale to use for weighing knives coming in. Im most excited for the BK4. And for some reason thinking up the sheath for it is what really excites me. Im thinking kydex and leather, but maybe with an open spine. Decisions decisions.

Christmas takes FOREVER with the out-laws. We're not even done yet, as predicted (by me). And this with dinner after 8 o'clock. Meltdown city.

I've been out of the picture most of the day with tons of family around. We finally shut down all the board games, puzzles and trivia stuff. It's fun, but I'm glad that's over until Memorial Day weekend.

They were, in a way, kinda inconsiderate. First they give me all kinds of new, sharp objects to play with :D and then I'm not allowed out to play with them. :(
Well, except for the Ka-Barley. :) That got broken in well and frequently.

OK, just had to put this up; even though we've still got LOADS of presents under the tree, I did get to give my girls their semi-homemade presents today. My little one wanted me to post this, without her face (she's learning a little internet savvy!):

Thank you. I'm bummed a little, had to rush the ferro rod handle and burned the purpleheart here and there; it's not up to my usual self-imposed standards, but the rest of it I was pretty happy with. I think my wife is more than a little freaked out I gave them knives and the means to start fires....but I am :D:D:D:D.
 
In on 3, how are you Becker Nuts? Hoping you've all had a great christmas. I did, got some nice stuff which I'll post up in pics in a day or two, ate some good grub and spent time with friends and family. Got my ESEE/Becker kitchen knives and man those babies are razor sharp right outta the box, looking forward to test driving them very soon. Got my old man something he's never had before (he is a notorious pain in the a*** to buy for), I brought him a Dovo special edition straight razor. Cost me some hard earned, but he's worth it :D You only have 1 Dad right?

He's more excited about it than he shows as he went online this morning and ordered a leather case for it, a strop with leather conditioner and a cheapo razor to practice honing on the strop :)

Anyways, hope you all had a blast and that everyone is safe and sound over the holidays.
