Picked up a Benchmade Osborne 940 on the exchange last night.
I usually don't get too excited about folders, but I'm anxious to get this one.
Anybody own one? How do you like it?
I've owned a couple of Griptilians in the past and really enjoy the axis lock.
 
I have one. I don't carry it a whole lot but it is s great knife that pretty much dissapears in your pocket.
 
The next Beckerhead that calls and wakes me up at 10:45am loses their number and banned.

When you have spent some time working with the Husqvarna axe can you let us know what you think of it? I am very interested in that axe, it sounds like a great deal.

Sure will. First impressions are very good. Good job hanging it and grain was outstanding. Very well made. Workmanship is great.

PEEEEKCHUUUUURS!

My impression is that the HB steel (in my one example) is softer than some of the really hard stuff, but it takes a ridiculously sharp edge and seems to give and take a real beating.

add a convection grate and/or outside air supply , line the fireplace with new refractive cement, tempered glass doors in front to limit how much heated room air goes up the chimney, use well cured hardwoods.

i like that little kabar folder. Almost looks like a barlow with a smaller bolster. Whats the details on that thing L4NE4
