I would love to have that thing. But $200 is a lot of money, I am most likely going to get a ESEE Lite machete.
 
thought we where going too have too bug out earlier the town i live in got hit hasrd ny the wind roofs are gown buldings down power outages the whole nine yards!! but thankfully we came out unscathed not so much as a flicker of the lights and no dmg!!

looks like you got the good "old stock" hults bruks version -- not the newer wingless wetterlings version.
either that or they got tired of having the wetterlings returned and went back to the style folks actually liked.
either way, congrats!

Just depends. I can get a comfortable grip on my ESEE 3 handle, because it's more or less a straight handle. Sometimes I think it's more in the way I hold a knife, than it is my hand size. The regular size BK's fit my hand well. One of the most comfortable knives I have is the Condor Bushlore. It has a 5" handle.

I've got one around here somewhere, got it when they first came out... I've got a somewhat unhealthy "thing" for axis locks. :) EDC'ed it for a while, then went back to my 705, not sure why, its a great little knife.

I was seriously considering picking that up along with the BK2.
Good deal with the micarta inluded.
That's a good looking knife Psy.
That came with a Remora too, right?
 
I was glad to see some Beckerheads got them. I would have grabbed that BK7, had I been in earlier!
