Morning men. I have a class IV hangover and it hurts to laugh so nobody say anything funny for a while.

I had to work during the Superbowl and I had to wake up early to take my kid to preschool so no booze for me yesterday, which means I feel disgustingly healthy and perky this morning. I am the anti-Tradewater.

She's not doing very good at all and from the sounds of it she probably won't be coming home from the hospital. I'm hoping that some of you will say a prayer for her in hopes that it might help her be more comfortable as she approaches the end and to comfort my boss and their children, family and friends.

well my izula is gettin jealous that it cant open a beer bottle. The 11's been gettin all the sudsy glory these days.

im tempted to mod a bottle opener into the lanyard hole on the II's handle. Doable or am i just gonna ruin this thing?

anythings doable and I have no doubt you can't do it, but as far as ruining it well I guess some junk is another mans treasure, its all perception...
 
yeaaaa. im gonna give it a shot.

in other news, i just batoned some fire wood and kindling for later this week and when i was finished i realized that the first grivory screw on my 9 was gone! it must have loosened up enough to come undone and bury itself in the dirt. I learned my lesson, gonna loctite the hardware from here on out.
 
Grab some of the lock nuts that have plastic in them. Works like a charm and less of a mess than loctite.

I use some of those but I cant find ones that fir the holes so I have to stick a screwdriver or something in there to get them tight. That is kind of a pain.
 
So, not that I really expect anyone to care, however last week was a monumental week in the deaf community.

MTV showed the first ever deaf artist music video (which while I don't particularly find very good, he definitely fits the pop segment bullshit that MTV goes for) he got to number #38/100.
Then for the first time ever, the entire Superbowl broadcast was captioned. Including the commercials and everything, so that was also pretty cool.
 
My cat has been having health problems lately, losing appetite, sleeping all day, having rash on her skin,... And it has been worsening.
A blood test today revealed she has some type of blood cancer and probably won't be able to keep on fighting much longer :(
 
Sorry about your kitty. I've lost two very dear pet cats in the last 15 years . . . last one just over a year ago. He's my avatar . . . ;)

Still miss him. :(
