So, my dad washed my cast iron skillet in the sink. :( It doesn't seem to matter how much I tell him not to let water touch it, it still gets put into the sink. :grr: So I just ran it through the oven.

My problem with KelTek, is that they cant keep up with demand now, and instead of ramping up production on the lines that they have that they cant keep in stock, they are making new guns, that will also be impossible to find, just like many of their other guns. The mark up on their stuff, because of lack of availability, puts them in the same range as H&K and Sig, and F.N.
Also, I have seen many reports of broken fore arms on their KSG,(Which I want) but nothing about them strengthening this component. Come on ! ...lol They need to get on the Semi auto version of the KSG if they are gonna make something new dang it.

This. I would buy a PMR-30 if they were at the appropriate price point, and legal in my stupid state. That new bullpup looks sweet too. As far as shotties go, I'm far more interested in the AR patterned ones (MKA1919 and the Rhino arms one that can be put on their 308 lower).

Also, made my first tanto design, as that fit best into one of the pieces of steel I had left over from sword-making.

hot water is fine... soap is what hurts, it ruins the seasoning.... not a loss, just re-season it..

I need a good recipe that I can use to pickle a pack of peppers...

No this isn't the start of a kids book, I just have a pack of peppers that I want to pickle.

It was sitting overnight in a sink of soapy water... I re-seasoned it. 550° for 3 hours in the oven with some peanut oil... That at least I hope would be pretty good.
