Hoss, most all-in-one printers should have an option in the software to clean the print head. If it doesn't do it automatically, you should be able to do it manually.
It does have that option but I was researching it (since the head cleaning wasn't working) and these printers are very prone to clogging and the ink drying, crusting over the printing head. Often the head cleaning mode can make it worse. I read a lot of recommendations to print something at least once a day to prevent it from clogging but there isn't much I can do now. For what it costs to replace it's not worth the energy to mess with.
