Not so much worried about the bro'....he likes beer and chocolate. 24 hrs. is plenty of time. Sister, OTOH....as much as I would like her to be the kind of sister who would just roll with the whole lizard gift thing - - well, she's not. (here is where the edit comes in so I don't say something on the permanent record of th' interwebz that I may someday wish to recant.....). She's just..........not. And she doesn't like beer, so no killing of two birds. She doesn't like beer......Sometimes I wonder if she's really my real sister. So you can see, that makes it extra challenging to choose some sort of a gift that won't engender suspicion or a desire for retribution. This is a procedure I have followed for many years. Sometimes somebody gets a lizard for Christmas, but it works for the most part.

Pretty stoked about getting to see my son Friday. He's returning from Colorado for a week. Miss Christmas by a day, but he'll be here for his birthday, so it's all good.

Gus has set me off on a nostalgic music trip.
Just bought an mp3 version of the first vinyl I ever bought - "The Grand Illusion" by Styx.
I'm not sure whether I'm getting old or just plain and simple already am.
Good times.
