Seriously? I have been thinking about getting one of those for quite some time, but was concerned about it being a little stout.

My 0560 is a little hefty behind the edge, but I may have to take a closer look at the 0801.

In other news - My wife and daughter have been trying to drive back from Denver since 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. They were doing ok til they got somewhere in between Amarillo and Wichita Falls. Got caught in a heavy downpour around 2am and haven't moved since (she hates to drive in the rain). I told her to just get a hotel room but she's too hardheaded and wants to wait it out. I checked the radar and there's more heavy rain headed her way. Right now she's in Quanah waiting it out at a gas station. I guess I'll see her before noon maybe.

its a half inch shorter and the milled Ti scales are a little thinner. I dont own a 560 or id bust out the calipers. If you google it i believe there is a posting in general of all the handle thicknesses of ZT models. It is hands down the sharpest knife I have ever unboxed. It flips buttery smooth and I dont find the Ti slippery (I have handled it with wet hands but not in bloody conditions). So far i got no complaints. Cuts cardboard nicely, great for my fruits in my lunch, almost went through the pizza and box into my leg when cutting a slice in half for my kids, and I've used it to cut a few pieces of paracord and rubber hose. Passed with flying colors and still push cuts my zig zags with ease.

If you still find the edge too thick, i have read that many people take the edge down to 30 degrees inclusive for edc. I haven't sharpened mine yet so I'm still at the factory (looks to be 18 degrees per side).

I'm not a doctor, and I don't play one on TV, but.....I have heard that there are a significant (but not large) percentage of people who don't get the same sort of effect from some of these drugs (I believe I am one) because a lot of the drugs (like Demerol, Oxycodone, Valium & others) rely on specific enzymes in the human body to work. Not everyone has those enzymes at the same concentration, and some people don't have them at all. When I ruptured a disc last year I was given a pretty significant dosage of Oxycodone for pain management....and it did almost nothing but make me sick. I never felt impaired the whole time I was taking it, and it also didn't seem to be managing the pain; and when I stopped taking it before I was supposed to (after dire warnings of drug withdrawal were given)...... nothing changed. I can only assume (I don't know if there is a test) that some of those meds don't affect me the way they are supposed to.

And I have no idea about the peanut butter/vanilla/cherry pie filling thing.

I still have my left two wisdom teeth. I'm gonna need the smarts when I get really old.

I'd probably order it sans the green tomato MOST times, but I'd be willing to try it with the first time. I just don't like tomato. I've never had fried green tomatoes though... Are they good?
