ASUS customer service officially blows chunks. They're a bunch of despicable sleazes. BBB report filed; I am contemplating filing a lawsuit.
My VISA got hacked this morning. I made 26 transactions simultaneously at 6:09 AM. It will take months to straighten it out. Fun.![]()
In other news, I have 25 stoves and a snow-cone machine on the way. No connection whatsoever.
WW & CF - Thanks for the recognition on Gold.
And as far as the sno cone maker goes it sounds like a win win!
But you better watch out she may have you buy her a car soon and explain how it's really just doing mom a favor. My 15 y/o daughter is currently working that angle.
How is Miss Angie doing, by the way?

Guyon - I got dibs on the first Bacardi and Coke sno cone! ..... Jack and Coke will work too.....![]()
No connection at all, I'm positive! You had my 5 stoves in that order right? We talked about jump starting my stove addiction, yes?In other news, I have 25 stoves and a snow-cone machine on the way. No connection whatsoever.
I don't think you need a full machine shop, sounds like some files and a drill press is all you need.So tonight a fuse went out and the lights went off in the bathroom.. So i set the Fenix PD35 up and it lit the bathroom up great so everyone could take their showers and brush their teeth and stuff....
But because of the tail switch design the flashlight can not stand up on its tail end... But i found a small bottle cap that the light fit in and held it standing up just fine... But i started thinking... It wouldnt be too difficult with the right machines to make a small metal cap that would support the light standing up... could even add a strong magnet in it to be able to place the light horizontal on a metal surface facing out....
Bet they would sell pretty good too.... Man if i had a full fledged machine shop id be making all types of crap... Im always thinking up something LOL
You realize she played you like a fiddle right?A couple weeks back my daughter bought herself a snow cone maker with money she saved up... But it was a hand crank one.... And she couldnt operate it very well so she asked mommy to help her... Mommy called me in to crank it... After about 5 minutes and 1 small cup of half shaved ice we got online and ordered her an electric one with the stipulation she never asks us to crank the other one again LOL
I have one worse (and one better) I have a buddy, 23 years old, got rid of his car and let his license expire because driving was too difficult he was just gonna catch rides from his mother. On the flip side, one of my coworker's daughter, is 15 just got her permit and WITH HER OWN MONEY FROM WORK bought herself a car.I don't know if your daughter trying to get a car is too bad a thing my 15 doesn't even want her license because as she says we can take her where she needs to go or better yet just bring her the stuff she tells us she wants
Sadder thing she has girlfriends 17 with no license either why pay for a car & insurance when they can always get a ride from any boy they call this is actually their philosophy.
Looking good in gold!WOO HOO!!! I got my gold back!!!!
She's hanging in there. MRI the other day and a consultation next week. It will be a while before we know what needs to be done. Naturally, we're hoping it doesn't require surgery.
