Oh my !

Yea good point... But id rather invest the money making knives than blowing glass... I wish it was just as easy to find weekend courses in my area for grinding blades LOL

Been looking at sheds for a workshop when i get down south. Probably going to go with 12X16... Bigger just gets too expensive. I only use 12X4 in my basement now. That includes where i stand and the 2 work tables up to the wall. I store steel and wood on the other side of the basement though, out the way. But there is already an old wood shed on the property that i could use for extra storage. They store old tools and a 4 wheeler in it now...Its old, not big enough for a work space and could use some new walls and flooring too id bet... But i could probably fix it up for a decent storage space easily enough.

12X16... think its big enough?? or think ill run out of space quickly? When i measure it out in my living room it looks big enough... but once you add tables and shelving and stuff im sure it will look smaller.

I know bigger is better.... But more expensive too.

Oh... And i never seen any hot sauce :(

How you planning on powering it?

This makes me smile. If I ever get any calls like your fake IRS people, I'm sending you their number.

This! It must be nice to have the time, Nos....I only get the automated calls telling me about legal action - like, 5 times a day. Oh, and Rachel from "Card Services" keeps calling, too. If the NSA is doing such a great job tapping all our phone lines, how am I still getting all these calls? I know they're being made by terrorists....economic terrorists, anyway...

Hey, if you ever need a guy to harass people who harass you over the phone, I'm your man.

If we dont here from you in the next few days we'll know why :)

C'mon, the guy's in some lean-to in Pakistan (his mom kicked him out of the basement) and using his neighbor's internet, it's not like he could do anythi-

Haha its all good brother! I was only being a smart arse. Besides, I probably couldn't be further away from you. I'm on the other side of the lake in the colonies: Straya (Australia). Can't blame you for missing posts and forgetting things mate, you've got a lot on your plate. I wish you all the best with the packing and moving bud, I know it's a prick of a thing moving. Especially when you're doing it on the scale you are. Wow. PA to FL. That's epic dude. Rock on Peanut Butter King!

Australia!! I ship there quite a bit. For a while i was proxying loads of Busse knives to Straya for several buddies. Worked out great, saved them money as id hold knives until i had a full box, and it allowed me to check out and fondle knives id otherwise never get to see. It was a nice arrangement!

Got quite a few buddies over there though. One day ill take the trip.... Im just hoping eventually they'll have a super quick cruise ship that makes the journey HAHA.... I did enough flying while in the service... Id be happy to never get on a plane again LOL

How you planning on powering it?

The old little wood shed? Nah i doubt ill run power to it.... But my workshop will definitely have power.

You might be on to something :D

Yeah, I was looking on there website and it says fixed blades are only allowed for the renactors costumes  they didn't even allow fixed blades in scouts until a years or so ago. And I'm looking forward to Philmont but I am a little nervous

The safe guide to scouting never banned fixed blades, just discouraged them. And prior to it, fixed blades were encouraged and even sold by BSA. Only camps, and troops ever forbid or ban them.

Doc

Cooking sounds about right.

its surprising how many people are scared of cooking or trying to cook.

I saw this clickbait ad today:

Dinner Hack? Soooo... Ummm.... Like cooking?

I didn't even know millennials delivered. Maybe it means they're doing takeout instead ;).

Seriously, though....it's funny - but it's not just millennials. My FIL has NEVER cooked dinner for himself....if it didn't come out of a window, he might not weigh what he weighs.....
...it's hard to believe such an essential life skill - even basic stuff - never gets learned by some people.

Damn right, Dinner Hack. More reasons to have sharp stuff.

So I actually had a Boy Scouts of America Stamped Hatchet and fixed blade combo set that shared a sheath, and a BSA folder as well. It pisses me off that they discourage fixed blades now. They freaking marksman qualified my dad on rifle and taught me to shoot as well, but without all the awesome classes that my dad had. The United freaking states of P.C. has really screwed the pooch on some things in the last 25- 40 years.

I agree it makes me sad. On our last camp put I was using my bk5 and a fellow scouts hatchet to process some wood for a fire, and he kept giving me the third degree. "Is that hatchet? Why do you have that, are you supposed to be using that, do you have an axe yard set up?" Like seriously

Got my membership card today, I am now officially a member of the sons of the American legion

 Im a member of The American Legion. I mean, well, i dont go to any meetings or anything... But i paid my dues LOL

Didnt know about the SAL until now... Cool stuff.
