The wife tells me she is going to the store in the morning. Tells me to make a list if there is anything i want and leave it on the fridge.


My list is as follows..... For real.

Crown Royal
George dickel 12
Buffalo trace
Forty creek port wood reserve
Maker's Mark
Knob Creek
Peanut butter
cheez whiz


Even 50% success rate would make me happy... Im thinking she wont be amused, and will prolly just leave the list on the fridge.... Either that or she'll grab my wallet before she goes.... Yep.. Now im hiding my wallet :p

Got all my tools cleaned up and packed away today... Made the mistake of packing up the tools i needed to take the bigger tools apart first... So had to unpack, repack.. all that fun mess.

Basement looks... Well it is... pretty much empty... Besides for the bowflex im waiting to give to this guy/kid... and the washer and dryer thats staying there.. Its all cleaned out.

Except for my computer, all MY stuff is packed up, in boxes, stacked in the living room ready to go right now. Got my clothes already in a box too, im just going to keep that box un-tapped so i can use what/when i need.

We got exactly 2 weeks left, a bit premature... Yea maybe... But im SO ready to get out of here!!

Your shopping lists even look similar to mine WW. Ever try 'dark ginger ale' ? been mixing it with crown lately = awesome!


Today is the wife's first day back to work. The kids are at the inlaw's until tomorrow afternoon. I'm fighting the urge really hard to call in sick and run into the woods for the day by myself for some peace and quiet. :( stupid adult responsibilities!

Never tried that.... I would/will... But im not sure how much id like it honestly... I use to enjoy crown and pepsi/coke/dr. pepper... But lately i just been taking shots or sippin straight whiskey. When i mix soda or something in them lately... It gets too sweet?? Bubbly? I dunno... Just not as good as it use to be.... Granted im not drinking much soda anymore either.. so maybe that has something to do with it...

Tried Maker's with soda, thought i didnt care for Maker's mark... Then i polished off the bottle taking shots... I like it quite a bit... Just not with soda LOL

Id still give "Ginger Crown" a try though..... Especially if your supplying the crown :D

Or any other variants from them 3 "companies" either for that matter...SO they are on my list until i have tried them and formed a decision...

The other 3 on the list... Whiskey staples :D With Crown, Maker's, And Knob Creek... Id never be upset with the options LOL


Oh... the wife took the list and crossed off everything but peanut butter and cheeze whiz and put it on my keyboard before she left this morning... 2 out of 8... She FAILED.

Honestly Woody, Makers Mark and Crown are two of my favorites. Knob Creek is also good, but I dont think I have tried Dickel. I have tried some really high end booze too, and normally I end up coming back to Crown and Makers Mark or 12 year old The Macallan
 
42Blades just shipped my Condor choppers, should arrive Tuesday so hopefully I can go play next weekend.
 
Might have to hit up a certain discount tool store tomorrow. Save a hundred bucks on a dust collector? Don't mind if I do.

What are y'all doing for the holiday?

Yea crown has been my go to drink for 10 years now. Always good. Always just as i expect. I like Maker's and Knob as well.. But if i had to only have one, it would still be crown. Im just "use" to it.

Wife is taking the kids, with her cousin and her kid, and her mother and sister, to another family member's house thats 2 hours away or so... They leave early in the morning.

I had no interest in going. They are carpooling with the same chick we took camping that ruined my outdoor fun..... Id have nothing nice to say...

But i gots no liquor or beer left here either, and they will have plenty.... But id take sobriety over ignorance. And really, with an empty house for the weekend.... I should probably take down the smoke detectors because the weather forcast is calling for clouds, and lots of low fog LOL
