Thanks man, appreciate it. We just got back from the hospital, and she's feeling a lot better. Probably get to come home tomorrow. She's been talking about going to Ireland for years, and finally made the plans for it. She was supposed to leave for there Wednesday, but of course, will have to postpone it for another time.
 
Priorities man, priorities. Though once she is cleared for air travel, you will have your next family vacation planned for you, lol.

Great to hear it. I hope she recovers quickly.

I spent 3 hours cleaning out old emails :barf:

Did have 12,847 emails in my inbox :eek:

Down to 2,893 now. Trying to get the beast under control. :rolleyes:

That sucks RK.

I been getting more sleep than usual myself. Staying active probably has some to do with it. Got almost 3 hours this morning but im bout to jump back in my hammock for a little and see if i can steal another hour or 2 before i start doing some work. I have a room to paint today. couple years ago the kids drew all over the walls and we been waiting for them to get out of the stage where we had to worry about them doing it again.... They havent drew on anything other than paper or their chalk board in quite a long time......Im sure as soon as i get this room painted that'll change though LOL

On another subject i was walking my dog and a man came up and asked if he was an intact male, i said yes, and he asked if id let him breed with his dog... which is NOT a shiba inu.. He said he has been looking for someone with a male shiba to breed because he wants a mixed puppy that has the primitive traits from the shiba inu and the ears and tail.... I was like OK, so what do you plan on doing with the rest of the puppies.. He said sell them, i said and if they dont sell? he says give them away.... I said ill have to pass.

He had no real plan, he just wanted to try and get the dog that he considers perfect for him with no idea what would come out in the end. I cant oblige to that. I wont be helping more dogs end up as strays or in the pound when he doesnt get the exact traits he wants or realizes they are not easy to train. It took me MONTHS to get Neko to the point he comes when i call him and will sit without having a treat in my hands, and he still wont listen when he gets wound up or there are distractions. The only thing that was easy was potty training him and thats common with shibas because they dont like to soil there living areas... He potty trained himself really. But im the ONLY person he even listens to here. My wife loves him to death, but he ignores her completely.

Now if he had a huge yard and planned on keeping the entire litter, had a real plan for all the puppies... For instance if he was breeding hunting dogs or something or had family that all wanted puppies no matter how they looked or acted and could prove it, that would be different. Id tell him Neko would be one of them hit it and quit it fathers and WONT be paying any child support and id let Neko do his thing... But someone wanting 1 puppy and plan to mix breed trying to get the perfect 1 is just a bad plan. I have no problems with mixed breed dogs, a lot of times they come out as wonderful pets... But i cant agree to anything that makes more dogs roam the streets hungry or end up in the pound.
