Double tap, but I'll take advantage of it.
MM: I've seen food allergy reactions before, and that doesn't look like one. I still think it's an allergic reaction, probably to laundry detergent or soap...do you get it on your chest or anyplace that wouldn't be touching clothes pressed up against a non breathable bus seat or chair? I think Vik's on the right track....have anything to do with temperature (as in are you sweating at all)? It's most likely hives, probably from contact with clothes between you and a plastic or vinyl surface. Maybe send them through the rinse cycle a second time and see if it helps, or change detergents all together.

MM-

Im of no help but my son did have something similar a couple weeks ago... It only happened once and went away in a couple days but we never knew what it was.

When my daughter was younger she use to get heat rashes all the time that looked similar to that as well.

Yeah, I doubt that this is going to just go away, I'm pretty sure that it's allergies. It has been going away every night and then coming back in the afternoon. Oh well, just a flesh wound....:D

Happy Birthday, Mr. Dresnor! Hope you've had a good one.

G'night Guys! Keep the help/tips/advice comin' and I'll be with you in the morinin'! :)

if you're having milk with breakfast and not breaking out by lunch, I doubt the milk you have at lunch is setting this off -- my bet is a mold allergy. talk to your science teacher about getting a sample and seeing what grows. also, not sure how our folks feel about OTC meds, but cetirzine (generic zyrtec) is a time release antihistamine and ranitidine (generic zantac) is a beta histamine blocker that can be taken with other antihistamines - both of these are "take once a day" meds that might ease some of the symptoms without making you drowsy.
if your folks don't like the idea, then obviously, don't do it.

First time I've seen that, pretty neat. Stanley's been coming out with some cool stuff lately. Just saw my local MEC is stocking these, as well as the food system one as well. Might have to head down there one of these days to take a look...

Have seen this before. I know the wife would love one.

That is a very worthwhile improvement Dubz. I would like that much better than the stock spray rig.

It is a cool mod. Only problem I see with it, is that the tank would drain fast using it. The head that comes with it doesn't allow as much water at once to come out. But I do like the option of being able to leave the valve on, and having an on/off at the head.

I agree that it is probably not a milk allergy. A food allergy will usually present with in a short time, minutes not hours. As it is happening more or less at the same time every day, it is most likely some type of contact allergy/environmental allergy, such as mold.

The problem with it coming back every day is that eventually it MIGHT (not will but MIGHT) develop into a traumatic episode that results in anaphylactic shock, where your airways swell shut and you either have difficulty breathing or experience an inability to breath at all, turn cyanotic and die. Only an allergist can properly diagnose such an allergy.

If you do NOT get the hives over the weekend while away from school, the finger gets pointed straight at the basement. Many folks do not realize they have a mold allergy as their symptoms are generally mild, until they have a change in work or school environment where they are routinely placed in a confined space with a high mold count, such as a basement, house/office that has been flooded, some high humidity environment such as a greenhouse, etc.

According to the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunolgy (ACAAI), the following are symptoms of a mold allergy (BOLD/RED are mine):

Mold allergy symptoms include sneezing; runny or stuffy nose; itchy throat or inside of ears; hives; swollen eyelids and itchy eyes; and coughing, wheezing (a whistling sound when a person breathes), and trouble breathing.

You need to be checked out by an allergist ::
a) for correct diagnosis
and
b) to have some ammunition for waging administrative battle with the PTB at the school.

Unless you have documentation to prove your problem, they're gonna poo-poo it off in hopes that the "REAL" problem, YOU (from their view point), will just go away.

No, I'm not down on quasi-governmental bureaucracies. I just don't trust them as far as I can spit a John Deere tractor.

No problem....... here you go lol.

Love the way ya drew the six-pack abs on with magic marker... I gotta remember that next time I go to the beach :D

Chiggers maybe?

If it was chiggers he'd know it  I agree with the others, it looks like chemical/environmental irritation to me. I had a couple nasty allergic skin reactions growing up and one case of hives that swolled me up like a balloon, over a period of several years... each time my parents took me to the clinic, the doc gave me a shot and it cleared right up. Never did figure out what caused any of it. Dad always said it was just the mean-ness coming out of me.

I guess I'm not mean anymore, cause it hasn't happened in a couple decades at least. :p

Cool knife Jeremy!

Jb weld some of the holes shut on the nozzle. I believe nozzle should thread off the spray head.
