Woo hoo! My Wolf Creek Forge tomahawk is finally finished. I should have it sometime next week.

And look what came in the mail last night. A Cold Steel Frontier Hawk, soon to be heavily modded.

Oddly, I actually forgot that I ordered either of these 'hawks. The fact that I got the Frontier hawk in the mail only a half hour before confirmation of my Wolf Creek hawk's status officially makes May 24th Tomahawk Day. :D

I've really been eyeing those Trailhawks lately...

helle are great. i have a number of them, most bought cheap, but esp the Temagami, bought new, but at a good low price. worth it? time will tell. i carried it since last Blade Show while waiting for tweeners. good knife.

Helle yeah! That Temagami was sweet, I remember checking it out last fall.
 
Another damn hawk made it out...that means another one closer to mine I guess...they look damn good.
 
Got my son for the first time in days. I dunno how I even breathed for the last few. man this is harder than I ever expected
 
Anybody know the penalty for driving with no lights on while wearing night vision goggles in Indiana? I may find out tonight, thanks Tankerwolf!

I cant imagine. Hurts to think about it. I'm so sorry you have to do this. On the bright side, you will probably cherish your time together more than ever. Hang in there brother.

I did get out to the woods today, and did some work on a shelter my roommate and I are building. Used the bk9 for most of it. I'll get pics up when I get off work.

Real sorry to read this, Clich. Hang in there man and try to adopt a long-range view; you and your boy still have many decades together, even though that doesn't make things easy now. That's the advice I gave my stepdad, when his first wife made it damn near impossible for him to see his two young boys... once they got out of the house, they immediately got in touch with him and they've been arm-in-arm ever since.

Kinda interesting, actually... I sat my wife down recently and gave her a "we need to talk", as we've been ignoring serious issues for longer than I care to think about and I can no longer stand the though of growing old with things the way they are now. No idea at this point where this is going to go, anything is possible and a good resolution is way more likely than bad, but part of me wonders if it'll be me one day trying to keep breathing knowing that there will be huge chunks of time where I don't have my kids.

Hope everyone else is good. Gonna try to get the hats from my giveaway mailed out, and I'm spending the rest of the long weekend in the mountains with the family to try to detox from day to day life. Work, wife, parents... everything has been a real challenge. *shakes head*

Good news is that I'm a month into my 'no new knives for a year' thing (last knife was an order into Mark Wohlwend for an epic slicer) and going strong. Do I get a coin at the end of this?
 
Sounds awesome BRL....after a month of talking about it and shitty weather, we are finally checking out some caverns tomorrow...today, I am going guitar shopping \m/....looking forward to it..
