yeah but it's slim and light...I love mine. keep it up and we'll convert you away from those boat-anchor pocket-weights called tactical folders! LOL
 
I looked ate the tarp boonie, not bad. Just don't know how much use I would get out of it

So I hit my paypal monthly withdrawl limit, with $70 left. got myself a bk16 again off the bay (sorry moose I only had $70 or I woulda bought from you). I don't have my shop setup at all so this will be the first Becker in a long time that stays factory. although my parents have a belt sanders so I may convex the edge, but there won't be any etches or even stripping for this one. gonna be weird lol
 
All these kayak pictures are making me really want to try one out.
Damn.
I wonder how hard it would be to strap a kayak to the top of a Mercury Cougar..
 
I like the Pamlico in orange. That's what I'm going to order. I can't get Kay off of red though and I'm scared to death we'll clash horribly.

Not hard at all. Pick up some pool noodles and some ratchet straps.

I remember on one of the kayak fishing forums I used to visit (I think it was http://www.kayakfishingstuff.com/community/), they did an informal test on visibility with different colors.
Mind you, this was in the ocean from pretty fair distances. But I remember orange was up there with the best visible colors.
My green OK blends right in. I hope I'm never run over by a bass boat.

I've been intentionally buzzed by bass boats running 60 before. We had one come right through the middle of our group laughing their asses off. I carry a flare pistol now and aim for the face. Evens the score a little. :D
 
Damn, the Beckerhead armada was in full patrol yesterday. I was out on the river as well, but I was in no shape to head a boarding party. In related news, I didn't lose a knife this time!
