around these parts, the only time we find boats hanging in trees are the morning after a middlin'-decent storm -- and at that point they're not worth much in the water... (after a doozy of a storm, there aren't any trees to hang them from...)

Ok, whats a good recipe for grilled oysters anyone? Got a bag of fresh ones and I'm going to throw a few dozen on the grill...anyone want to enlighten me on a tasty topping?
 
Blade is only 9 hours from my house... I could drive down there no problem... It wouldn't take very much convincing at all... GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Oh, I know! I was joking. I don't think I would regret it either. However this is one of those "but I wannnnnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaa" type things.
 
Me and the kitchen staff went to the lake and helped out with kayak demo day. Met some fine folks, turned a bunch of people on to kayaking and had a good time.

Having a little dilemma here. I have the 16 and 17, neither of which fit my hand worth a damn. (Of course, the same handle) I was wondering if I should take a chance at modding them, or just getting rid of both of them, and get something that does fit my hand. The more I mess with them, the more I realize how poorly they fit my hand. It's really not just the length either, I feel the front contour is way too small. So even if I add a choil, or just round out the end, I feel it still isn't going to fit me well. Really sucks, I love the looks of these knives, they just don't fit. I wish the tweener handles were the same as the large BK scales, but on a smaller scale. Same length, just not as big around, that is.

Yes I could. I realize that would take some of the circumference problems from the front, but it still just seems too thin to me, top to bottom. How do they fit your hands? Your hands are a lot bigger than mine. I think I'm just going to sell them. Or trade perhaps.
 
Have you tried adding a liner? Moose had one on his 16 that I got to play with and it made a HUGE difference.
