I know that front area is "thin" for you DUbz, but seriously, try some liners, it makes a world of difference, and have dramatically change how the knife feels in hand.
Still wont take care of the length problem though.

So I just tried to dye my tweener scales a dark brown and they came out an almost black color green. Looks like its back to the drawing boards lol. Hopefully the sheath actually comes out brown.

Gonna try to make my TKC izula handles fit my 14 tomorrow. Some filing and drilling and they should go on nicely....

Finally got new wheels and bearings for my '87 Staab, the same week that my youngest has adopted skating for herself. There is a very good chance that hippers and frontside airs are in my future, depending on how deep I allow this mid-life crisis to sink its hooks in me. Either way, it's heartwarming to see the family legacy being carried forward. Here's some 1985 action at Upland, complete with Thrasher Mag tshirt, for you old-skoolers.

Sounds like a kick ass time man....enjoy the peace and quite...what are your plans?

Dubz....pm's are full my freakishly large handed friend...

Anyone have any suggestions for a tweener replacement? Wanting to get a drop point in a similar size. Like I said before, love the blades, but the handles just don't do it for me.

Maybe u could work with a custom maker? There are several around who would work with you, a simple plain user in a 16's size wouldn't be too expensive. Draw up a pattern that is close to the 16, but with an inch or so more handle.

Blind Horse knives maybe Dubz.

Have been entertaining that thought. I like the Woodsman Pro. 4" cutting edge, with a 4 3/4" handle. No handle protrusions. 01 tool steel, in a saber grind. Twice as much as a tweener, but hey, if it fits my hand, worth it:
