Good to know. Have to wait on this one until I get back to work.

That woodsman pro has had my eye on it for awhile. I really want one. BHK is going to be at Blade so it will be nice to get to handle them.

You do mean their knives don't you....tell me you mean their knives.

I am so tempted to say ''eff it'' and head to Atlanta. I just dont think my bank account will agree. I bet y'all are gonna have a blast. I'm going next year regardless.

We promise not to have fun if that helps any. :D

Are you checking out Hike Inn trade?

Okay, that was really weird. I was reading their website and just clicked over here. Not feeling 100% fuzzy about it. Hundred and forty bucks for a bunk bed and a stool. Showerhouse. No alcohol. Hmmmm.

I'm thinking we might just string up the hammocks...

went to smoke shop just now, found this lil gem.

has a ~2' retractable leash

I'm gonna buy a few of them, clip a Bic to all my packs, clip one to my truck's visor. Handy lil device, they hold the Bic VERY strongly...its like a rubber beer coozie. Was $1.27 +tax

I have seen these before, just never bothered with 'em...I wish I had got some a long time ago

Have been entertaining that thought. I like the Woodsman Pro. 4" cutting edge, with a 4 3/4" handle. No handle protrusions. 01 tool steel, in a saber grind. Twice as much as a tweener, but hey, if it fits my hand, worth it:

I was already pulling up pics and specs for this knife before I read all the replies. That's the one I'd get based on your likes/ dislikes of the tweeners. That new button snap sheath BHK has looks pretty sweet too.

Or there's the Bushcrafter, but you may already have an opinion on the handle.

I like the fact that the handle on that is 4 3/4" long, with no protrusions on the handle. I wish I could handle one before pulling the trigger, but, gonna be awhile anyways. Maybe I can find a used one to trade for or something.

I was debating on what sheath I liked better. I like the looks of the flap-less one better, but this one would secure your blade better.

I'm going to get one at Blade Dubz. I'll send it to you when I get home to try out.

Hell yes! Thanks for that, much appreciated. I know the handle is long enough, but I'm wondering about thick enough. I started a thread about it at BCUSA.

kick ass :)

i have several of the new/retro old school skating books, and some videos. wasn't my scene then, but i so appreciate it now.

good times

eeee - snagged, literally, a decent rainbow trout today. 1 lb 9 oz rainbox, about 15.5 inches long.

now being cooked up, it consists of an entire trout that has been coated with butter. using only the finest trout, which are dew-picked and flown from Merrimack, cleansed in finest-quality spring water, lightly killled, then sealed in a succulent quintuple jumbo lemon peel treble butter envelope and loving frosted with sake. "and if we took the bones out, it wouldn't be crunchy, would it?" (mine fish recipe a parody of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crunchy_Frog)

OMG, that was the best meal i've ever made...

thank you mr trout for your gift, you were very appreciated
