I guess im just weird but i didnt care for the micarta on the 11. All the other becker micarta i like but on the 11 it just felt wrong to me.

Edit. I didnt care for the 14 micarta either really.... I like full scales on the 14/24 though.

But the full size and tweener micarta is awesome! If pricey.

I haven't really used Micarta on anything besides the 11. I should I guess though.

Anybody have a favorite leather maker/wallet maker? I pulled a thread on mine this morning and everything dropped out the bottom :grumpy:

Need a new one but can't decide and looking for input

Hellbrand Leatherwork. I got my wallet from him 5 years ago and it's gotten softer but still looks almost as good as the day I got it. He is a car guy who used to own a clothing company but switched to leather. This wallet was expensive but it has outlasted anything else I've had by 3 years already and it's still going strong.
 
Lost control and ordered a CRKT Chogan hawk. I'm completely off the chain here.
 
I ordered the Chogan so maybe I can stop throwing this f*&king CS shovel. It's addictive.

I had ordered one right when they came out, the handle was technically through the eye but was just flopping around in the box so I sent it back. I'm sure it was just a fluke, I have a lot of other CRKT stuff and it's all been good. It was also a lot heavier than I expected. Maybe I'll order another down the road.

I keep looking at the Kangee....dex has a deal w/ sheath that is making me rethink priorities. Gonna be colder than a witch's backside here before long tho, and I don't have room to throw it indoors.
