Spoke to Dex today and picked up his last Kangee 'hawk. And a another 15, though I think it will end up being a gift. I'm super pumped about the 'hawk. I know I'm being totally superficial, but I just love the looks of that thing.
 
Took the youngest son to the clinic this evening. He was in PE and they were doing soccer drills. He was playing goalie and some kid kicked the ball hard enough that when he blocked it with his hand he got a minor buckle/compression fracture. Didn't know you could kick a ball that hard. Splint for now. Back to the doctor Friday for reevaluation and likely a permanent cast. Pain is reported at a 2 out of 10. Now to see if he can sleep.

Bummer for your son. My guess is it wasn't the speed of the ball but just an unfortunate hand placement....if everything lines up wrong at the time of impact, that kinda stuff can happen. Hope everyone gets some sleep.
 
CMR-30 is now shipping!

i did an interview in the morning and got a job offer 2 hours later; but had to tell them to wait because interview #2 that same day (which they knew about, so, their speed...)

#2 went "very well", feedback soon.

Nope. Will have to wait for the DVD. Can't get the CW channel and Netflix here is a no win situation. Access is slower than Christmas most of the time.

I've never had a blackberry AND pecan pie. It's always been one or the other. Good luck finding a combo like that. :D
