We used to have a "Huffy toss" at a bike shop I worked at. Group therapy. A few bike mechanics, coupla six packs, a concrete wall and pent up frustration. One of the guys always drove over the remains with his Festiva....it was like a twofer for him 'cause he hated that car as well. Good times..... a $#!+load cheaper (and at least as effective) as *actual* therapy.

We had something similar but we called it the fecal matter bike toss... different wording though. We also used to take kids 12'' bikes and add more spokes to the wheels and sometimes pegs and ride them like freestyle bikes. Some of us got too good at it (not me). It was fun trying to do tricks and land jumps on a really tiny bike. Lots of laughs though.

Now I'm craving pie, and I'm stuck at work for another 7 hours. Dammit.....

Man...... I want a pie too. Thanks WW.

This weather is finally getting nice around here. Left the doors and windows open the last couple of days now. Love it.

Makes me want to get out and do some back yard bush crafting and start grilling again every night.

Just got home and opened the package from Coyle Outdoors that was waiting for me. My first BK5, yuuup! Probably won't be my last, I seemed to have doubled up on most of the others. Thanks Dex. Great communication, fast shipping. Excellent service. I really appreciate it.

Glad i could help fellas. At least i didnt post a picture of the delicious blueberry insides. Man it was slap full of berries. Not like the grocery store pies that has all that filling with a few berries here and there... This was LOADS of berries here. Very much YUMMY YUMM.

11 bucks for the large pies. Which is a lot in my opinion so i was really hoping it turned out good.... And it did.

that's cheap for a decent pie. especially loaded with REAL fruit! Nice.
you'd pay $4/slice in a diner.

I guess im just a cheap bastard. Use to seeing the 3-5 dollar pies in grocery stores.. My wife thought it costs around 20 bucks.

Scheduled 48 hours of OT this pay period, just started day 4 of 7. Don't have any OT for next week but I have to qual at the range and visit the dang clinic at work where the (incompetent) doc is gonna give me crap about my weight and just be a general pain in my ass.

It the OT a good thing or bad?

Mine is about to kill me....10+ hours a day for the last 14 days, and go until this Sunday...I stop counting at 50 hours of OT per two week pay period...particularly since they stop paying me once I go over about 42 hours OT...I am then considered "sufficiently compensated" and can keep working until I lose consciousness...

Edit: speaking of losing consciousness....Good night all you 'heads! I need some sleep to knit up the raveled sleeve of care...

The OT is a good thing, I did it to myself because I can turn it down if I want. And they have to pay me for every stinking minuet I work. Literally. Actually it's in 15 min increments so if I work 2 minuets past the end of my shift, they pay me for 15. However, by law I cannot work more than 18 hours in a day, voluntary or not. Not that I'd want to. Still, that still allows me to work more OT than there is to be had.

How is that legal? Not busting your chops or anything. It's just that I was told by an auditor from the Department of Labor, about a year ago, that all non-salaried employees had to be paid time and a half for every minute they work over 40 hours. I guess I'm just curious about the exception to that rule/law.

i get paid straight time, for how many hours i work, be they 20, 40, 80, 160...

1.5 time would be great. 2.5 time would be super awesome

course, it sucks that the gov takes their cut of your life, if you choose to work harder, they should cap taxes on a 40/hr-week/2000-hr-year kinda system.

if you choose to work 4000 hours, those extra hours should be YOURS for the effort. america would also own the world, because, we like hard work (and money)
