Pecan pie.... My weakness.... Man I was just thinking the other day... I needs me some peecan pie!

I'm looking for some spalted wood for scales if anybody has any.
 
Hey Terrio, your shit luck with steel suppliers has rubbed off on me thank you very much. I paid over $200. bucks for precision grinding. Thats just the grinding cost, not to mention the $800. bucks the actual steel cost. Turns out, its all .020 oversized. I am beyond PISSED! Got it corrected with a few ass ripping phone calls but not before it puts me a month behind! :mad:
 
I'm headed to the farm too! Not the fun pumpkin farm though. I'm headed to the one where its 30 degrees and we have to work on an auger outside all morning one. Should be a chilly morning for sure, but I'm remembering to bring more than a sweatshirt today, so it shouldn't be bad at all. Take it easy fellas.

Glad I could help! :D If it makes you feel any better, we got it sorted with some high-tech wizardry (those mis-marked blades are O1, so that's fine) and yesterday I received twice the amount of steel I originally ordered, free. So actually... I kinda wish that would happen every time, as long as I could plan for it. :p

RE: pecan pie... I don't like cake very much... so for many years now I've a pecan pie for my b'day instead. :thumbup:

Send 'em a bill for the lost time. They won't pay it but they'll probably make some kind of offer. Tell them that offer is an insult and see if they'll double it. Or just mount a T-shirt cannon on a lawn tractor and unleash hell.

Aw, I guess this kinda stuff happens but it seems to happen to me more than it does other people, just like today, I hung a ceiling fan in my new shop. Struggled with it most morning, then I get to the last step which was putting the glass globe over the lights, I take it out of the box and bubble wrap and the son of a bitch is busted. I said to hell with it. Im gonna work on shit I want to work on for the rest of the day, fiddled with my old triumph project. The engine gonna mount easier than I thought, so I can forget about all of the shit that pissed me off this morning.

We used to have a "Huffy toss" at a bike shop I worked at. Group therapy. A few bike mechanics, coupla six packs, a concrete wall and pent up frustration. One of the guys always drove over the remains with his Festiva....it was like a twofer for him 'cause he hated that car as well. Good times..... a $#!+load cheaper (and at least as effective) as *actual* therapy.
 
I participated in a few "Huffy toss"'s myself when I was working the bars......or was that hussy tossing....I can't remember

Had a good time and brought home a pie. Unfortunately they didn't have any pecan, and the blackberry and wild berry pies were sold before i got in the shop. But i did get a yummy looking blueberry crumb pie.

Forecasted temps steadily dropping, haha. Now 46° and windy Friday, 49° Saturday, and 53° Sunday. Lows at 30°. Still good weather though. :thumbup:

We held a MacPlus toss when a lab was decommissioned sometime around 1994.

My son and the little girl wearing the pink shirt stayed side by side the entire time, even both ways on the bus. In fact during the hayride my son sat at the edge of the truck, and i was going to sit beside him but the little girl asked me if she could set next to him and i sit beside her LMAO.. She is a sweet little girl, together them 2 had me laughing quite a bit.
