Little late but...
I hear if ya drop it in a bag of rice for a day or so it MAY dry out and be ok...

Try it. It may help draw out any of moisture that may be causing problems. In any case, at this point, it can't hurt.

This one the angle is 21.1xxx angles. Ok, now we are working the whole bevel. 15 minutes later, HEY there's the burr! I'm NOT going any further I don't care if it's only a tiny burr... Wait, why is the burr only on 7/8ths of the length of the edge?! SON OF A !!!!


Basically this was what my next 4 hours was like. However I managed FINALLY to get it sharpened. I would love to give a shout out to Daizee... YOU SIR ARE A SON OF A BITCH!

lol! I was freehand sharpening mine yesterday. From what you've said, it seem like I had a much easier time.

Forgot to add...this should be done before trying to turn it on to prevent damage...hence the "little late" heh.

A friend of mine tried this with his iphone. It worked.....for about 3 days...
 
Thanks guys! He told me 2 week turn around... But I'm planning on the end of the month just so I'm not disappointed... But I'm still checking my messages every few minutes just in case of magic.


We have used rice on 2 cellphone in the past with perfect success. One went through the washing machine, son dropped the other in a little pool iirc.... But we told my wife's aunt to try it after her phone got wet and it didn't work... So maybe we just got lucky lol

Man, you guys have me rolling around laughing here. Crux move. Although, if you're tiny, that 2 foot mark move could be a challenge.

This is the only logical explanation of how it ended up in said toilet.

I freehand it too with the dashi.

You go side to side or push into stone like a regular knife?

I like to wiggle my worm in the deep end.
 
My BK21 is out for delivery on the UPS truck. Expected arrival by 8 pm tonight. Chompin at the bit here. :abnormal:

lol. This is bordering on bad taste, even for us.


My W2 should be available in a couple days and I can do my taxes. Single guy, standard deductions. It doesn't take very long and then I can sit back and collect my returns and get some cool toys. Wanna get an AK pistol and set it up for my truck gun when I'm out exploring the boonies looking for ghost towns and whatnot. After that I'm gonna try and focus on getting the projects I already have knocked out.
