My BK21 is out for delivery on the UPS truck. Expected arrival by 8 pm tonight. Chompin at the bit here. :abnormal:

Hope it works well for ya man. I was thinking the other night, that there's really not that many BK21 threads anymore.

lol. This is bordering on bad taste, even for us.

My W2 should be available in a couple days and I can do my taxes. Single guy, standard deductions. It doesn't take very long and then I can sit back and collect my returns and get some cool toys. Wanna get an AK pistol and set it up for my truck gun when I'm out exploring the boonies looking for ghost towns and whatnot. After that I'm gonna try and focus on getting the projects I already have knocked out.

Agreed,

on to the next topic!

Sweater pants and how they chafe.

I would also like an AK pistol... but I want a new handgun first

This lady misunderstood. She's wearing a sweater sans pants. She's not doing it right but I don't wan't to call it wrong either.

I will also not call it wrong. Sweater with no pants is perfectly acceptable for beautiful women. Maybe she was on her way to a 'pantsless party' and somebody just so happened to get a photo

Thanks. Me too. Most expensive knife I have bought. I hope it out chops the BK9. I have been sitting here going back over your BK21 thread.

All this dittoing, and you're knocking up projects? Have you learned nothing?

so this appeared

http://www.crosman.com/airbow

who's buying one? :)

me? i'm looking at an Excalibur crossbow. just don't know which one (cheapest? :> micro? 360?)

Except for the airbow is not legal to use in the "Live Free or Die" state. I'm just trying to get better using my regular bow....which is now a new Mission Riot. Big surprise....to no one, it is a WHOLE lot more user friendly than my 20+ year old Hoyt Flashpoint.

This is what I was doing the other day, still dialing in the sight and shooting the bow for the first time:

I'm pretty happy with it. Very smooth draw cycle, quiet, consistent....and a couple pounds lighter than my old setup. Still some tweaking to do, a couple parts to swap out.....
Just need to sell the Hoyt now.

gsom, is it just illegal to use for hunting or illegal to use for backyard use?

Just for hunting. Whatever happens in your backyard, stays the hell in your backyard ;). I think crossbow hunting is legal here, it just coincides with firearm seasons - unless, possibly, one is handicapped. But I don't really know the regs, so.....Imma claim a bit of (complete) ignorance on that one since I don't own a crossbow.

Hey GSOM, is your bow target supported by a PVC frame or something? My daughter just got a bow and arrow set for Christmas (from her brother), including a big target thingy, and I have to figure out how to set it up this spring. Without her sending arrows into the back alley. Or someone's yard. Also, might have to pick up a cheapo bow myself. Don't want her to feel lonely [emoji3]

Sent you an email....but yes, it is a simple PVC frame made out of plumbing stuff from Gnome Despot.

apparently the crossbow thing changed recently, for a small extra fee, anyone can use one.

it the airbow is classified as a crossbow...

Here is my little project of the day... No before pic so I took a pic of the other. Mr. Wilcox was a WW2 vet a Naval Corpsman who served in the pacific theater. When I was a kid I used to go see him almost every night. He told me stories that a 13-15yo probably shouldn't hear. He also told he about fishing and trapping because that's all he did after WW2.
Anyways Dad bought his place when he had to leave and now I have a place very close on the same creek even. Long story short here is Mr. Wilcox trapping shovel and I wish he had taught me how to trap not just fish.
