Snarking Up The Wrong Tree

I heard they were disarming turkeys these days. Good job.

Someone has to stop the insurrection.

And on that note, I've moved on to red wine. Just using it medicinally.

Looks like I managed to get a case of poison ivy. Patch on my leg and also on the back of my neck. That last spot is new. Just starting to bubble up. I suspect that it will be a weeping wound by the morning.

So. Much. Fun.

I practically wallowed in the stuff the past few days of hunting. Thoght I had a spot popping up on my wrist, but I put hydrocortisone on it, and it faded. I was probably just paranoid.

Installed a used bedliner?...
Nice!

I hate that bedliner.

Johnny did it! Slap, slap; no tag backs.
Found fresh BRCC coffee delivered today, life is good again!

We expect a full photo-heavy trip report.
:thumbsup: As you know its actually hard to take pictures. I get in the zone and forget to take pictures most of the time lol. But i will git er done. This Saturday I am doing a 15 mile moderate difficulty Stairway to Heaven/Appalachian Trail Hike/Climb for practice and exercise. It runs from 94 by Vernon Jersey to 17A in NY. Forcast Rain, Rain, and Rain with Thunderstorms lol Good Times and Great training weather for sure.

I know how that is. My phone is usually my camera and I typically put my phone on airplane mode and toss it in a pocket before hitting the trails. It usually is a conscious effort to remember to pull it back out and take some pictures. If I am with buddies, they tend to look sideways at me when I am snapping pics of knives, I just tell them, "Knife porn", and they snicker and carry on.

Im going to try out a small camera tied to my harness with 550 cord. But free swinging things tend to get the hell beat out of them while climbing. Im going to run a single strand to keep snaggy things from snagging it.

Not sure what sort of gear you use when hiking but I use a harness similar to this for my binoculars when elk hunting. Keeps the binocs close to the chest without swinging, yet still remains within easy reach/deployment. Don't even notice it is there half the time even with a large pack on. I wonder if something like that could for a camera as well.
