Thanks Aiki. Got my Bk16 and a Beckerhead patch for the journeyGood luck tankman. My legs are burnin’ just thinkin about all that elevation.
Thanks WW. Put split shot In aluminum foil and use that in your wrist rocket. The foil tears away in flight and it becomes a fairly accurate shotgun on moving targets.Good luck tanker!!
I remember reading something G Loomis said years back... Something like "I can build you a rod that you can't break, but you won't want to fish with it"
You can have good sensitivity, or good durability... But, in my price range anyway, you can't have both...
Congrats on getting some fishing in. I'm going through fishing withdrawals right now because of all the rain...
But Friday I head to Georgia... All night catfishing and bowfishing... From Friday to Sunday. Looking forward to it. A little rain isn't going to stop me, but hopefully the weather cooperates.

I’d say a good 20-30 minutes. I set the hook and it went straight down river about 75 yards. I couldn’t even slow him down. Those big guys do what they want. Such a powerful fish! Needless to say, my forearms were burning after landing that one. That's awesome Johnny! That's one fish that is definitely on my bucket list. How long did it take to land?
Once temperatures rise above 80 Degrees Fahrenheit kind of puts a damper on the day for me as well as my dogs tooDamn heat is gettin worse, 32°c today... Both dogs got diarrea, they just cant stand these temperatures.
Hottest spring/early summer in 100years ..![]()
