Couldnt even get out of the house to make a sheath this morning, so said EFF-it and went to the berkshires. Going to pretend i know what 'time off' means before something calamitous happens. Gotta get my head straight for flying to panama next week.

My friend, I must admit you caught me in a conundrum of hypocrisy there, and hoisted me on my own petard. Well played, sir! :D :thumbup:

In my own (admittedly weak) defense, it's not that I'm particularly passionate about or against Crocs... I just think they're funny. But regardless, your point is well-taken :)
 
well, I don't like Crocs either. Never had a pair, not even tried them on. I still don't like them.

unless something weird happens, i won't be going to Blade Show 2015 this year.

mostly it comes down to plans changing, timing, and unreasonable costs this year.

haven't missed one in ages.

Remember what they always say about weather in Texas - If you don't like it, wait 5 minutes and it'll change.

I got another 2.5" last night and am unable to pick my blackberries today. I was already sinking 8" down into the mud and loosing my boots while picking them after the 5" of rain I got last week. If I had gone out into the berry patch this morning, the only thing people would have seen was my berry bucket floating on top of the mud and a big divot where I had sunk in.

I have heard that same thing about the weather in many states, same as "come on vacation, leave on probation" heard that in several states as well. Only proved true once LMAO

BLACKBERRIES. Love them!! They grow wild all over central florida. Growing up, when they were in season, never a far walk to find some. Hopefully they are still just as abundant. Thats one fruit id prefer not to grow on my own property... too many thorns, and dog would probably get sick eating them and cut himself all up in them.... He likes trying to eat the mulberries that fall around here, so im sure he'd like blackberries. Not toxic to him... but im sure if he ate a bunch he'd get the runs LOL

Now if i had a section of land i wanted to devote to just them and enough money to fence that section off, and they didnt grow wild right around there... Then sure, but that likely be the case for everything HAHA

Blackberry pie. Man. My favorite fruit pie. Now i wants it.

Everyone says that about the state they live in. Fact of the matter is, weather changes everywhere. Nobody's state is special.

That's been bugging me for a while, nice to get off my chest.

well, she liked most features...

however, her handle comment shows that she is perhaps not informed. she wants texture. great, you can buy that. not required though.

uneven weight (ie: blade heavy). uhm, duh. it's a khukri pattern. KLO even if not pure khukri. calls it a machete. perhaps not fully cognizant of the field and intent.

i give her review some stars for technical accury, but take some back for failing the finer points ;)

Well, this is true with some things....I don't have to kiss another man to know I wouldn't like it.....but to each their own. Just because one doesn't like them doesn't mean one has to judge. Everyone else in my family has them, and seems to like them, but they are not for me.

When they say that here, it really is true. I've been outside in shorts and 60° and next thing it's snowing. This phrase was invented in New England, and everyone keeps trying to apply it to their state. Anyone who's ever turned back halfway up Mt. Washington in July because they started in July weather and walked into November weather unprepared knows this to be true.

well, the ones that walked out. more than a few have died of frostbite in summer here; some got lucky with say, losing a few limbs.
