So, I got my emerald problem fixed, I called the company and they are next day airing the 3MM jewel to my cousins house in Atlanta. So I can do the fix there at his house when I arrive tomorrow.....

So, here it is, still need some work on the brass and final polish. But you get the idea. The mokume is hard to get the detail in the pics, and im still getting shit ready so, better pics later.






Notice the one missing emerald in the spine. :grumpy:

 
All I have to say is; Damn!

She's purdy. Its a good things somebody else is going to own it. I don't think I could bring myself to use it in the way it want's to be used :D

what's the word on tritium beads? esp the metal enclosed bright hotness that goes on a keychain and is tough and all that?

i used to be on CPF bigtime, but have fallen off the rails to consumerism and blister pack flashlights, so i'm out of the loop

need me some farkle for my keys

Mine is basic looking... But cheap compared to a lot. I think the casing was around 20 bucks and the trit vial around 20 as well after shipping and all. So around 40 all in IIRC. Some look amazing but cost hundreds... I wanted to see what it was all about without spending an arm and a leg... Green glows great, some colors not as bright... But the green i have is awesome at night. Strong as well. Been bashed around a lot and dropped, thrown on tables etc. Still looks the same as ever...

Worth the price??? Meh?? Im in no hurry to buy another, but like the one i have.

trust me, you drop your keys, or favorite knife, or something in the dark dark weeds, with one of these, you can find them, you want this

course, you could spend a few hours and wear out some batteries trying ;)

i'd prefer a beacon.

i've had tritium vials longer than some of you have been alive ;)

back in the day, we did a group buy for a lot, i've broken or lost or given many away, so...

those were encased in very tough plastic. look harmless and not fancy. they worked.

ideally, what i'd like are some of the very good bright ones. a sweet cnc titanium holder is a bonus.

$20 for a vial is ... outrageous unless they are very good.

$200 for the holder is ... up to the owner ;)

ah, that makes more sense, but i always just reach in and grab whatever my hand hits first. :D

and actually, my donkeys are quite dumb.

You sure? Not a problem to send over some postage $. Let me know. Have missed alot of the stickers that have been around before was a BH and needz to get my hands on more.:D
