Yeah, when I worked in finance we did all our software deployments over the weekends between NYC market close and London market open.

Unfortunately I now have a car loan again for the first time in years. But also I have a reliable car, so there's that.
 
I bought a '97 F-150 years ago. Loan was for 3 years, and drove it another 12 after that was done. It was nice going 12 years without a vehicle payment.

Unfortunately my 2008 Chevy Colorado only lasted 12 years until the goram frame rusted away.
In 2013 Hefty Lefty and I bought a 2002 Lexus RX300 from Carmax for $12k with 120k miles on it. Drove it another ten years alongside the truck until 195k miles and a couple weekends ago. Toyota got my money for a new (2021) vehicle.

Curse all these new electronics, though.
 
Figured out the issue with the new propane tank so I get steady pressure now!
Next trick is to figure out why my burners don't want to stay lit for the first minute and why the back burner doesn't like to light at all .

Probably going to start by reaming out the orifice, then add some insulboard to reduce the openings front and back.
 
When I paid my car a few years a go, they said I had to use their "Payment Platform" when I just wanted to use my bank card. After over 48 minutes of the very rude person, who I turned on my even ruder charm to do the "Payment Platform" bit. The VERY RUDE person said "You could of just of used your card." so I replied about the time of the recording that I TRIED to but the female dog in heat didn't let me for their recording. Probably designed to very greatly discourage one from paying off a car loan early. I paid off the car early. Of course when it was said there was a "24 hour Clarence" BEFORE the payment what was deducted from my bank account right away, set off even more alarm bells. So of course they sent a REPO "Agent" to steal my car during the 24 hour processing of my payment they took already. Now around here a Repo person needs a County Sheriff to accompany. So when some one was breaking in to my car and I "Stopped" them yelling car jacker and wasn't to nice at the time. The cop station less that 100 yards away responded. Well...having experience with how institutions would just cut and leave him to hang out to dry, I pressed no charges and made sure he had copies of all the reports and such needed to ream his employer and the bank. I did get a spare set of car keys out of it though. It explains where the extra set of keys went, like I think they were planning on some thing after the car was paid off, I gave his lawyer a copy of my payment of the previous day later on. I heard his greedy lawyer got a settlement right away. Think some stuff also happened but I got revenge by being a "nice" guy so I just moved on.
 
It was in the 70's here earlier, had the fan on. Started getting a bit chilly, looked, and it was 58°. Currently 50°, with a low of 42° tonight. I have to drive to St. Louis tonight, and pick up my son from the airport. His flight comes in at 11:30. Been 4 or 5 years since I've seen him.
 
Tell Him of all his chores that built up for him!

37F here. Says snow tonight, but I say none with it being so warm.
 
Knockin' on the door of triple digits today and tomorrow. Weather man lied about rain last weekend, I counted 24 drops.

What's crazy is it was 85 here Saturday and it's currently 33.

Building a new rifle. Criterion barrel, BCM upper, Aero lower, a5 recoil system. Can't decide on a handguard. I'm a fan of the BCM mcmr, but want to go with something different on this one. Liking the SLR Ion Lite or maybe Mega/Zev. Decisions decisions
 
We went to Canal days in Metamora Indiana today. The state has an operational grist mill there. I always get myself a bag of stone ground grits . They didn't have any bagged up . They literally bagged me up a bag coming right off the grinding stones . Don't get no fresher than that. Grits and eggs are what's for supper
 
I had never had grits until this past December. I didn't know what I was missing!! Had some cheesy grits at a BBQ place in Vegas. I should figure out how to make them myself now.
