I've been adding purslane, from the yard, to my diet this summer.

I'ld had it as a kid, grandma had me collect a pot full from a nearby orchard. Interesting taste, like any vegetable, but unique. I finally read up a bit about it for my own knowledge before diving back in. They even call it a superfood. I can honestly say, it does help me sleep better. It has a reputation for aggravating kidney stones though, or some such, so do your own homework if interested.
Grits; so, never tried it.

Haven't bought a new knife in a long while. Just haven't been on here much to be tempted I guess. It looks like we are going to be in Denver in August for a Foo Fighters concert, so I'll definitely have to visit the Spyderco factory in Golden and pick up something new. I did happen to find a D2 BK14 that I thought had been lost probably 6 years ago. I was rummaging through some boxes looking for something else and boom, there it was. I suppose that's kind of like getting a new knife.

Got a new 2024 Freightliner Cascadia at work work in the middle of September. 3400 miles on it and it has been in the shop for the last 2 weeks. Hoping I get it back soon and it's actually fixed. They tried to get me to take it last Thursday, but it was still running like crap and acting weird. Told them there was no way I was going to put it on the highway like that.
