Sneak Peek At The New Busse Custom Shop Bowie Knife! ! ! ! ! . . . .

Pre-orders were taken at the A.G. Russell show at the end of July; I hope they're getting close to filling those orders.;)
 
I've been looking for a proper Bowie for years, search over I'll take ten right now, houdini! Hope there's plenty to go around, cannot wait.
 
I don't need to search anything. I found it it's Busse Battle Pappy. And I know that this was a special to pre-order at A.G. Russell Show, but why not to stretch the offer for international buyers and those who couldn't make it while the knife is in production run. I just want to get on the list. For a regular price, not the special show price of course.
 
Any word on when we the clamoring masses will be able to place an order for one of these beasts? My inner untamed wilderness braving forefather needs one.

Blade has great lines, love the flat grind and the heel of the blade. Guard (material?) seems a little thick, and the knife would look better if the visual line of the handle matched the width of the ricasso.

Same thoughts here. Could live with the guard, but the ricasso needs to be a bit smaller and handle a bit larger to match.
 
Well I'm going to go against the flow and say that this one does nothing for me. I did like it when I first saw it but each time it comes up I seem to like it a lot less. I think I would have liked to see a better looking handle on it. The more I see it the more I think that as a whole it just does not look entirely right :confused:
