If I were a gambling man I would say this is made from a SAR8 blank, I laid my SAR8 over the posted image, and the back of the blade has the exact same profile, and the same blade width as the 8, including the choil. If all these estimates are in the ballpark that would make the length at 7" give or take a 1/16th, there is also an additional serration on the back edge from 6 to 7. This could be close to "my" grail knife as I have been considering taking an 8 and cutting it down to 6 3/4". I hope I'm lucky enough to get one, I hate the idea of cutting down an 8 to satisfy my "fantasies".

Better stay away from the casino then. If you look at the shape of the talon hole and the scale pattern it is exactly the same as this

HG55LE.jpg

The handle has been modded and the blade has been reshaped but I am pretty confident it is in the HG55 family.

Stats would be awesome but till then, I'm guessing it won't be .25" and more like a .22"

I understand that the handle is not the same as a SAR but I was referring to the blade profile, as it is the same! Hold your HG up against it then a SAR and you will see the top profile from butt to tip are exacctly SAR, I think Liu Kang is right on the thickness. Maybe I should go to the casino!!! This is evidence that Jerry has mixed up the vials of cloning INFI and these are the results. Thank You Jerry!!!

Not enough time to read the whole thread, but will there be any options??? I LIKE THIS BUGGER!!! Nice design Jerry, you have a winner here... I really like the straighter blade better than the HG55.

Thinner would be mo bettah.

The most important !!!

This Ganza will be sufficiently supplied- every single order will be satisfied...

Or is it like "Santa Ganza" style- "Snatch and run" ??????? First come wins, payd of course...

'Ganzas are always 'first to the trough wins'. That's just how this game is played.

So there is only one piece of every knife ? Hard to believe... But anyway, what are my chances that my email will come first when my location is in Central Europe. And 9pm-10pm EST is here 3am-4am CET of the next day. I think I'll just pass this twisted game even though I would like to buy this knife...
(Didn't mean to offend anyone.)

....

I'm guessing that the rest of the specs would be similar to an HG55, yes? ....(1/4" thick, approx. 5-3/4" long blade length, nearly 11" OAL?) :) ....

.

Jaxx says it looks like a HG-55, but I say it looks like Jerry was trying to satisfy all the people that want a knife similar to a original Satin Jack (and NO, I don't mean a straight handle Satin Jack, I mean the original Satin Jack). It looks thinner than 1/4" in the picture, 3/16" would be great!

.
:D

Yep, I most definitely like it!:thumbup: Sweet...but if a LEO ever asks me what the name of this knife is (if I'm lucky enough to score one), I might have a more pleasant experience if I just call it a HUG-55. Better chance of avoiding arrest that way, LOL!! ;) :D:D

Nice design. :) Great lookin' edge on that, BTW!

Yeah.

Me, too.

What he said.

None taken. If you choose not to play, that just makes our chances better. :D

Generally speaking, we don't know how many copies of a knife are available in a 'Ganza. Usually more than one. Your odds are probably as good as anyone's, unless you have a slow internet connection. You would not be the first Busse fan in Europe to stay up all night waiting for the GO! signal. Good Luck!

that's pretty cool. like an HG55 mated with a SJ.

not quite satisfying my SHSJ craving, but cool nonetheless.

I hope it makes an appearance beyond just the Gaanza.
