Snow, Snow, and more SNOW!!! Yuck!

Here is a picture from my trip on new years, it gets really cold at night in the desert but warmed up by mid morning.

Great. More snow incoming. They have actually scheduled a level 3 snow emergency for an hour from now in Toledo. I have never heard of a scheduled snow emergency before. I am ready for spring already.

Garth

We are getting lucky here in SE Ohio, all the heavy stuff is falling up North on Garth and the crew. It's still freezing cold, and set to get a whole lot colder tomorrow, a forecasted low of -12 for Monday....what the....

So it's a warm on in Indiana today, weather stations are showing that from Indy on south for 50 miles the wind chill is anywhere from -31 and -41

Apparently a lot of the state got a foot of snow yesterday, I was in the small lucky part of the state that just had a bunch of rain that's now froze, plus snow

fu***** weather

We got a dusting to maybe an inch. Very cold 16 right now and that is as high as it is going to get.
Got a feeling the there will be tons of welfare checks to do at work tomorrow.

Got up this morning and it's a balmy -13 with a wind chill of -38 but don't worry it's going to get "up" to -9 for a high today..... and oh yeah, we got about a foot of snow on the ground also.

I am on my way right now! I need out of town before Sunday, lol. Do I have to bring a show with me?

Flying out there in two weeks to look for a house to buy.
I've been looking in Fountain Hills, Rio Verde and Ahwatukee/South Mountain areas

Looks like a great place to take two Grizzly 700's and a new Rubicon :)

I know what you mean! It's gonna be about 65 here today, I might need to wear a liner in my jacket to go for a ride!

Brrrr bro....it's dropped down to 65??? It was pushing 70 the other day here in the Bay Area.

:p

Sorry snow people...try to stay warm and if you get tired of it....you can come to California and pay through the nose for good weather. You won't have a dime to use to go out and enjoy it but at least you'll be warm.

The second wave of snow hit on Sunday evening and didn't let up until later Monday afternoon. I was out and about when it started to snow, when I finally decided that it was getting bad enough to head home a few inches of snow had already accumulated on the highway. When I finally made home, it was almost white out conditions making it very hard to see the road. Monday night with the wind chill it was about -50 out. It was neat to see all the statuses on Facebook of people taking cups of boiling water and throwing it into the air. For anyone who hasn't heard about this, the boiling water freezes almost instantly when you toss it from a cup or pot. It's actually pretty cool. Level 3 snow emergencies were issued Sunday night and weren't removed from the area until late last night. I made quality time with my tv and Netflix, but being stuck in the house was driving me crazy. I cannot sit still for that long. I'm glad that the weather didn't get much worse and I was able to get out today. How did everyone else fare in this crazy winter storm that the Midwest was caught in? I hope everyone stayed safe and warm.

Yes....cooler here yesterday....first day in a week I didn't have to use the air conditioning and a little rain to sustain the lawn :D :D :D

I thought you guys might enjoy a few pictures of the snow. It's really pretty, but it sure is cold.

This was on my way home Sunday evening

Once I got home it was pretty hard to tell where the road ended and the field or grass began

Bundled up to shovel out the driveway
