Snow, Snow, and more SNOW!!! Yuck!

The only cold stuff I want to see is ice and I only want to see it if its in a glass with a stiff drink surrounding it.

Well, its rainy here in Portland, Oregon - but 54 for a Saturday high. I'll take it!....Stay warm out there!
 
It rained last night and has continued to do so throughout most of the day today. The temperatures have steadied somewhere around 40°F. Last night and early this morning was quite the foggy mess and the snow has turned to slush. Winter just can't seem to decide to stick around. :(
 
Well, the forties must seem like the tropics compared to the last few days...enjoy!
 
Snow is pretty much gone now. Nothing but mud and a few of the largest piles that are still melting. Its a mess, but still better than blowing drifting snow.

Was nice here today but the white stuff is coming towards end of week.

I will enjoy the peace of winter while we have it, with the solitude and the clean fresh air of 40 below over the endless weeks/months of biting flies. I don't mind the long evenings we get during winter giving a chance to unwind and relax from the day, in summer it is daylight long into the evening and the day can become too long for its own good.
 
It's been snowing all day and I am LOVING it!!! You better believe it's the good kind of snow too, just right for packing :D Snow forts and snowball fights anyone?
 
A very sarcastic Yippy Freakin Do Da. I hate this crap. Why cant it just snow? Why does it all have to come with the ridiculous blowing wind. I am tired of plowing the driveway.

Had another inch on the ground this morning. Ehhhh

Did see gas at the lowest I've seen in a while though, $2.98, but that was at walmart hell so...
 
Snow yesterday AM--Bout 1" plus,weatherman missed again.
Traffic was a zoo. Took twice as long to get to work.
Colder than a Hound's private's today with temp's starting at -10 & up to 9 for high with wind chills.
Cmon Spring!!
 
Word here in the Northeast is that the "Polar Vortex" is making a return visit next week. After this past pretty mild week, I had full-on Spring fever already...evidently that lovely thought is about to go south...or er, "north" in a hurry! :rolleyes:
