Whitbear; OKLAHOMA?? OKLAHOMA?? We don't need any stinking Oakies here!!

A word or two of explanation. I was born and raised near Santa Barbara on the CA coast. I went to Nebraska to go to Pharmacy and then Medical School. This was in the early '70's, when Oklahoma was a football powerhouse, and used to regularly face an often previously unbeaten Nebraska team, and totally humiliate them. A person did not admit that he liked, or was from, Oklahoma, or had relatives (my mother was born there) from Oklahoma. If you did, you were the butt of many practical jokes on one of the remarkable days that Nebraska beat Oklahoma.

I have been back in CA for over 25 years, but still fondly remember the days of yore, when the treacherous Oakies used to trounce Big Red. So, no offense, whitebear, just old reflexes.

I'm originally from Virden, IL (South of Springfield in the center of the state)

Now I'm at college in Monmouth (Just a little East of the Mississippi and way North of Springfield.)

My fiancee is from near Aurora next to Chicago, so we cover pretty much all of Illinois except down Egypt way.
