Jeff
that is one beautiful knife and you inspired me to get out my old Case and clean it up and touch up the edge. Working on it now![]()

No O1 made in this run. If it's dated 15 it's 1095 Carbon Steel.
Looks like my red micarta 71 is shipped and heading to the Rocks!!John
Ship, I learned the hard way. You have to call KSF, and they will email you when they get the product in that you want. It's then up to you to put in the order. It looks like they still have some orange or white ones available. If you missed this run, you can watch for the next batch of Mudbugs to come out perhaps in February. They may have red ones then.
Watch out, though, once you have one, you'll want a few more. My collection:
Natural micarta SFO inbound just up the road from you in Scott.![]()
did i miss all the red ones? Where are you guys ordering them? I'd really like to get a red or natural one.
I got this lockback, red linen, micarta, Mudbug this past September and it's been languishing in it's box next to my desk since then. Something about the looks of it with the lockback puts me off. I'd much rather it have a liner lock like some of the old Case Sod Busters had. Don't know what I'll do with it. Maybe give it the ole "will a Mudbug rust in the rain?" test like I did a GEC Yellow Rose Whittler a few years back. We'll see.
Hmmmm. I wonder how it'd weather on the roof of our wood shed?
I'll put it up there tomorrow - maybe this afternoon.
