Sodbuster...and lots of them!

Case Sodbuster question. How recently has Case offered Sodbusters in CV with black delrin scales? I'm more interested in the Jr size, but would eventually like to pick up both sizes. Was wondering of any recent sources to pick these up other than searching that big auction site...

In black delrin and carbon, I don't know the date but it was quite some time ago. The auction site is probably your only bet other than knife shows, or the wanted section here on BF.

So excited! All the family made it in from out of town today. The two linen's really turned out nice. The tortoise is sweet also. I love that "grippiness" that the acrylic has in the hand.
Sorry for the horrible office fluorescent lighting.

Thanks for sharing the "family" pics, Neil. I just got my tortoise today along with a red micarta. I agree about the tortoise. It has a nice grippiness about it that the micarta doesn't have. An unexpected nicety. All those 71s are sweet knives, and super values. My tortoise will be my edc for awhile.

great family pic! I received all my variations today, one of each new release, so I'll have to snap a pic of them and the rest of the crew together:D

My SFO GEC Bull Nose with Tortoise Shell acrylic covers came in today. Great choice of covers by the dealer - couldn't be any more attractive. Very happy with this knife; and NO - this knife will not be spending any time on a hot or cold tin roof.

I'm glad to hear that Ed! :D

Ha, too funny Ed! I received two of the tortoise shell acrylic bullnoses today from Bob and they are great!

Bush, congrats on your first soddie and Bullnose, you done good:thumbup:

Well, I was so impressed with the OD Green Linen Micarta #71 I got a little over a week ago that I went on a bit of a Bull Nose buying spree. They're all here now, so from top to bottom: OD Green Linen Micarta, Natural Canvas Micarta, Red Linen Micarta, Nifebrite Acrylic and Tortoise Shell Acrylic.

I think all I'm missing from this year's Bull Nose run is the Sunbrite Acrylic, the Orange Delrin, and the Black Linen Micarta. I doubt that I'll round out the collection; the Sunbrite seems too similar to the Nifebrite (and while I haven't seen both in person, I definitely think I like the Nifebrite better) and the Orange Delrin doesn't do much for me. I do like the Black Linen Micarta, but I don't know that I'll get one.

Ha! Neil, I came in here and posted mine before catching up on the thread, so I didn't even see your "family" pic until after posting mine. Nice choices, you have great taste!

Got a orange delrin Bull Nose inbound. I came close to getting the OD green micarta, but the practicality of the orange won out in the end. It is much easier to spot a orange handled knife in the woods if you drop it or put it down.

Well, ladies and gentleman, my bullnose FINALLY showed up today! It's not that the shipping was slow but I was so excited that it was inbound it just seemed like forever. Anyways, I'm pretty stoked about this knife. Everything is perfect. It came fairly sharp but not quite to my level. So I put a stupid sharp edge on it. Then I installed the bail. Next I made a little bead from ebony and made up a lanyard. I keep catching myself just looking at this knife and thinking, wow. This thing is perfect. If you don't have a bullnose yet, just go ahead and buy one.

Mine is due on Wednesday. With a bail as well. I'm thinking I might lanyard this one. I'm not too partial to lanyards, but seeing the one from Bighaze51 is making me consider it.
