Why? If you make the fiberglass as thick as Strider does, you don't need a liner. Aircraft parts (radomes) are made out of similar material and they don't need liners.

I think it would be a safe bet to say that you will never do anything to even come close to flexing, much less breaking that knife. Seriously, they don't break cutting apples and opening mail.

That wasn't funny. A $500 framelock should have a liner under the G-10 or CF. I'll stick to Hinderers, the tiny bit of addtl. weight is negligible and the liner makes it feel indestructable. Same with a ZT 0301 = bombproof feeling.

Strider now makes an SmF with an Aluminum scale instead of the G-10. Does that make you feel better?
