Congrat's Christof on # 200, In the second picture from the bottom the Modern Seax Blade on the right Is that the Beauty that's coming my way but Finished In Ipe Wood Scale's and and an Awesome Koyote Girl Sheath ?

I thought It looked familiar, I was just reading the Seax Topic that seemed to come to a stop In April, I like the Blade design of your Modern Seax Blade's that you've been making the two that you just had In the Fixed Blade section when I seen them they was calling my name # 1 Sold Quik, # 2 the one I'm getting had just a little shorter Blade but when I look at this type of Blade I see the perfect Bush Knife foward sliceing & diceing and chopping "Pure Work Horse Blade" I'll find out when that Beauty come's In the Mail, And this one you made Is a "Work Of Art !

I still don't have well aged osage orange for the handles on this baby, but I went ahead and did the heat treat since I don't wnat to wait on that part anymore. It would look good with ipe scales.......

some other heat treating from this morning- there's a couple sgian dubhs in there, a bushcrafter that's piggyback with a large chopper (not photographed) that's going out this week, a modified canuckian pattern, and some HC rebar.

Sierra is a busy bee- this is a youth sized trail knife that's going to go up for sale soon. It's a good fit on my almost 6 year old son, as well as the smaller adult females in the house.

And I am making another nessie to sell on the forums, this one should have the sheath and the final coats of oil on the handle by tomorrow and get a final buff and hone:

Yeah! I like it. Christof, do you have another type of wood that is lighter than ipe and in stock? Maybe flame treated hickory?

Oh yeah- I've got walnut, jatoba, might be some other stuff that's big enough to fit..

The jatoba I think yoou have some of on some other knives. The walnut I picked up is super fancy gunstock grade stuff that could be a lot of fun. I'll dig around in the drawers and see what else is there. I know I have enough from any given block of walnut for both knives.

sounds good. I've got two glue ups to do today and a pile of finishing work and then I'll start applying bandsaw to wood blocks.

Lets do the walnut for both knives and the firesteel.

Now that Is a Long Knife, Woo-Wee that's one thing with the Seax Style Blade you can go 4" or 24" "How long Is the Blade on this one ? I cant wait to see this one Finished ! That's gonna be an Awesome Blade Wulfshrunting, And I know you want to see It Finished, Nice Work on that Blade Christof, Is Koyote Girl makeing a Sheath ? It would look great In a Baldric set up,

blade on the seax is 12.5 inches, plus a bit, and the overall length is around 20.

It will be getting a sheath and a matching smaller knife and some other bits.

Christof, you think the original color of the sheath and the stitching will go well with the walnut? I think it probably will, but just wanted to pose the question.

Sierra, what do you think about doing a small amount of tooling on the sheath?

I am still catching up with email, but yeah, the color should be fine, Sierra says some borderwork would be cool
