• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Big handle space- interior handle lngth measurement is 5.5 inches, then the guard area, then just about 6.25 inches of edge.

We have a canon a95- i'm fond of it because it accepts all the fittings we've had for a few models- a macro and wide lens and adaptors that work with my bushnell spotting scope. Not so much for close up work, but really nice for wildlife (well, a bit slow with the bushnell)

I also have a canon SD750, but I don't have a charger for it.

better close up photo work is something I really need to do.

But what i'm really looking for right now is a used AA cell camera in the 2-3.2 MP range that my sone can use to take his hundreds of photos every day. Just waiting for craigslist to turn up the right one.

I might look into the finepix S700, though. I need to work on my photo quality

Any trail knife update pics? That wharnie looks pretty good in ivory, and the leather work is really impressive.

Jason

i just got done cutting the LV for the current trail knife, and it's gluing up in a couple hours.

It's too funny that another fellow named Jason loves that trail knife?

Spearpoint? oh, that's a seax. I promise once the finished photos are up it'll be more clear- it's a dropped spearpoint, but definitely visually a seax. The pattern is a middle period langseax type of shape. So very nice to poke and chop with.

now, on the spearpoint langseax, should I do a tradition horizontal dangler?

Wulfsrhunting- that reminds me, I need to verify your sheath style. long expedition style with the piggyback?

hmm... I don't like danglers for heavy blades, the get a little crazy when hiking around, but I do like that they can be swung out of the way of things. An expedition might be cool for a longer blade like that.

okay, I'm almost caught up with the older stuff and can finish out the seax, trail knife, and leukus

That look really nice!

Christof, the sheath is a snap-Expedition with piggyback, in a brown color w/ contrasting stitching, left-handed if that matters.
